The Asset Protection Officer is responsible for protecting the assets, property, employees, visitors, and stakeholders of the Royal Bafokeng Nation. The role focuses on preventing loss, minimizing security risks, ensuring compliance with security policies, and maintaining a safe and secure environment across all RBN facilities.
Requirements
NQF Level 4: Grade 12 (Matric)Security
Grade C-B Valid PSIRA registered
Must have 2 years’ experience in the security industry
CCTV skills, National Key point qualification, drivers’ licence and firearm competency will be an advantage.
Must have clear criminal record
Able to communicate fluent in English (verbal and written)
Provide visible patrolling services across designated sites, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, visitors, assets, and property. Deliver immediate armed response, escort services, incident management, close protection, and operational support for critical business functions to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the company.
Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents and emergencies, providing direction and guidance during security breaches. Ensure all incidents are managed in accordance with company policies and procedures, with accurate reporting and timely communication to the Control Room regarding response requests and actions taken.
Assist in preventing and deterring theft, arson, sabotage, vandalism, trespassing, and other criminal activities across all operational areas. Maintain a high level of vigilance, identify potential security risks, and take appropriate action to protect company assets, personnel, and reputation at all times
Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Grade C Certificate in Security and Tactical Training
At least 2 years’ experience in the similar position
Range officers’ certificate will be an advantage
Valid firearm competency certificate.
Valid driver's license.
Excellent physical fitness and endurance.
Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
No criminal record
