    Targeted Enterprise Manager (Roadworks) - Construction Industry

    Job Description

    • RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established construction company in South Africa is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Targeted Enterprise (TE) Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and compliance of Targeted Enterprise development and participation on a major roadworks project in Limpopo.
    • The TE Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing SMMEs, subcontractors, and suppliers from designated communities, ensuring that contract participation goals (CPGs) and developmental objectives are met.

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma/BTech degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or similar
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in community or enterprise development within large infrastructure projects
    • Deep understanding of CPG frameworks, CIDB grading systems, and public sector procurement
    • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide an effective and efficient estimating function
    • Prepare decision to tender for Management approval
    • Consults with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates
    • Provide cost effective tender pricing
    • Analyse drawings and any special requirements for tenders
