    General Worker (Maternity Cover)

    Description

    • To operate equipment in accordance with company standards operating procedures
    • Grade 12, with Mathematics & Physical Science.
    • Any tertiary qualifications would be a definite advantage.
    • Manufacturing experience in steel environment will be an added advantage.

    Requirements

    • Efficiently and accurately operate equipment according to operating procedures, instructions, and schedules.
    • Ensure prime quality production in accordance with quality plan
    • Adhere to operating requirements were assigned to.
    • Continuously reporting to Production Technician on any observed defects/Deviation, unsafe conditions from the operating parameters or production requirements.
    • Accurate calibration of gauges during start of shift
    • Applying appropriate Roll bending pressures to avoid pinching as per SOP
    • Adhere to safe work practice and good housekeeping (6S)
    • Physically FIT.
    • Understanding the requirements of SAFAL business operations.

    General Worker - FTC

    Education/Qualification & Experience

    Customer Service Co-Ordinator

    Description
    Productivity: -

    • Interface with customers and sales representatives to handle both pre-sales and post-sales service functions
    • Organize product delivery and order fulfilment activities such as taking orders, giving pricing information, determining appropriate shipping methods, routes and rates, etc.
    • Manage and track customer orders from purchase to final shipping.
    • Maintain documentation to track customer requests and enquiries
    • Collaborate with KAM’s to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of the full basket of products and to provide efficient sales support
    • Address problems, such as damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications with relevant departments
    • Comply with laws, regulations and standards of South Africa with regards the disposal of scrap steel
    • Participate in meetings to improve productivity, resolve customer service issues and manage the workload of team
    • Monitor product order shipment to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
    • Alert customers on shipping and flow issues in advance
    • Communicate loading details to the dispatch officer, invoicing & credit team in advance

    Customer Satisfaction: -

    • Ensure all customers receive exceptional service
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with all customers and prospective customers
    • Assist the Customer Service team with resolving customer complaints swiftly
    • Provide outstanding customer service to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships.
    • Develop and maintain a positive client relationship by providing routine follow-up customer service calls
    • Document and escalate any customer service issues and/or shipping/receiving errors
    • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with those on your team, as well as cross functionally
    • Develop knowledge about each customer’s business model, requirements and trends

    Requirements

    • Minimum academic qualification: NQF L6 - Diploma in Business/Commercial Studies
    • 3 years post qualifying experience with at least 1 year in sales/customer service role.
    • Computer literacy: MS Office package; SAP as an added advantage
