    Bid Coordinator

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    • Analyse and complete RFQ’s, RFP’s, tenders, and technical survey’s.
    • Assist Bid Manager with technical responses as and when required on behalf of the Sales department or clients themselves
    • Engaging with various external stakeholders, other departments, and levels of management
    • Liaises with the departments on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status
    • Maintaining bid database and bid information for easy use by internal staff
    • Formatting and compiling of bid submission documents
    • Administer and maintain the pipeline on Ozone CRM system
    • Assist Bid Manager in obtaining relevant information for client responses and projects
    • Maintain technical database of facilities/responses
    • Account Management functions as and when required
    • Form part of the bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery.
    • Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer.
    • Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around the executive summary).
    • Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
    • Ensure on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
    • Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission.
    • Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Completed Grade 12
    • Min 5 years data centre or ITC industry experience or IT technical exposure
    • Previous experience of tenders

    CFD Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and execute CFD simulations to analyse airflow distribution, temperature profiles, and pressure differentials for internal airflow (e.g. containment design, equipment thermal performance, rack heat load analysis).
    • Conduct external CFD analysis to evaluate the effects of wind loading, HVAC exhaust recirculation, generator airflow, and environmental heat transfer.
    • Interpret simulation results and provide data-backed design recommendations to optimize cooling strategies (e.g., hot aisle/cold aisle containment, CRAC/CRAH placement, perforated tile layouts).
    • Liaise with Lead Design Engineers, MEP consultants, and architect to integrate CFD results into facility design basis of design documents.
    • Interpret simulation results and provide recommendations to optimize cooling strategies (e.g., hot aisle/cold aisle containment, CRAC/CRAH placement, perforated tile layouts).
    • Develop thermal models of existing and proposed data center layouts, considering equipment loads and airflow obstructions.
    • Validate CFD results with on-site measurements (e.g., IR imaging, temperature sensors, airflow meters).
    • Support capacity planning by evaluating thermal impacts of IT equipment deployment or infrastructure upgrades.
    • Create technical documentation, simulation reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external clients.
    • Ensure CFD simulations are aligned with ASHRAE thermal guidelines and company performance targets.
    • Stay updated with the latest CFD tools, cooling technologies, and best practices in data center thermal management.
    • Collaborate with Data Analytic and BMS team in developing energy efficiency report

    Compliance

    • Maintain compliance in accordance with all relative policies and procedures
    • Support the HR department in achieving the organization developmental plan deliverables within agreed timelines.
    • Meet agreed inter-departmental OLA (Operational Level Agreement).
    • H&S monitoring and corrective action to meet statutory compliance, SLAs and good business practice.
    • Implement company and departmental policies, processes, and work instructions as per the agreed quality and timeline/ RFS.
    • Develop working methods to reduce or maintain Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) levels.
    • Task finalization and report accurately, as per agreed format, quality and within the agreed timelines
    • Maintain ISO 14001 and 50001 certification, and drive action plans & reporting to achieve the objectives applicable to their respective site.

    Data Centre Ethics

    • Ensure compliance is maintained incorporating industry best practices

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Qualification Option 1: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Thermal Sciences, HVAC Engineering, or a related field or
    • Qualification Option 2: Significant hands-on experience (5+ years) using Cadence CFD software or equivalent simulation tools in a design or consulting environment
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in CFD modelling, preferably within data center environments.
    • Strong working knowledge of CFD software such as Candence, ANSYS Fluent, 6SigmaDCX, Autodesk CFD, or similar platforms.
    • Experience with data center cooling systems including DX cooling, chilled water, liquid cooling, in-row cooling, etc.

    Service Delivery Manager

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    Service Delivery Manager

    • Manage a portfolio of clients
    • Build strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels
    • All Service Level Agreements to be maintained and reported on according to set business parameters
    • Build and document CRM knowledge about the client’s offerings at Teraco
    • Understand clients core business and how it interacts within Teraco and identify needs and business opportunities
    • Have a full understanding and operating of Teraco CRM to enable reporting on services per client
    • Escalation point on allocated clients
    • Project manage all client installations
    • After hours co-ordination and activation of client services and products when required

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric Qualification
    • Business Diploma / Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role (full ownership and management of client operational relationship)
    • Microsoft Office skills
    • Knowledge and experience in understanding Service Level Agreements
    • Experience in utilities/power deployment and cabling infrastructures will be an advantage
    • ITIL Foundation certification preferred

    IT Security Administrator

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    • Assist in managing and maintaining user access, roles, and permissions across systems.
    • Ensure proper implementation of Just-In-Time (JIT) access, granular permissions, and security policies.
    • Own and oversee the user access lifecycle, ensuring proper activation and deactivations.
    • Monitor, review, and audit access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies.
    • Work closely with the CISO, Security Analyst, and Security Engineer to implement security best practices.

    • Relevant IT qualification (Diploma/Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field).
    • Any security-related certifications (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security, etc.) would be beneficial.
    • Prior experience in an IT helpdesk, support, or security-related role is advantageous but not required.

    Physical Security Analyst

    MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

    • Action physical access request tickets to the Access Control System in line with Teraco policies. This requires a high degree of attention to detail, and compliance to policies.
    • Track and allocate tickets to team members for action. Ensure tickets are addressed within required timelines.
    • Analyze logs and data sets from various sources to formulate reporting for internal usage e.g. data integrity assessments etc.

    • Client specific monthly reporting.

    • The use of vulnerability management for IoT and OT devices using third-party tools, including identification, assessment, and remediation tracking by logging of tickets for action by team members and ensuring tasks are closed timeously.
    • System Uptime: Validation of percentage of time that all security systems (CCTV, access control, metal detectors) are operational and functional by leveraging data sets provided from various sources.
    • Escalate and track calls that require the attention of the IT team by utilizing the correct escalations channels
    • Document security administration procedures, implement the procedures as agreed and ensure evidence in respect of procedures is retained as per documented.
    • Liaising with vendors for replacement stock or spares for maintenance & maintain critical stock levels.
    • Adherence to standard operating procedures and to IT security governance and policies.
    • Take initiative in consultation with Security Systems Manager to improve IT security and better fulfil the needs of the user-base.
    • Validation of handover documentation for the testing of new installations for both standard and non-standard projects.
    • Ad-hoc duties.
    • Review & validation of new/old, mapped camera’s according to security risk reviews.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric
    • Experience in Vendor Management and related SLA’s
    • Previous experience in supporting a VMS system or IP camera network (Advantageous)
    • Driver’s license and own car essential
    • IT Diploma/Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 6
    • 4 years’ experience in process or document administration in a technical environment
