    Financial Accountant (Longmeadow)

    Description
    Accountant

    • ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry.
    • We are seeking a highly energetic Accountant to join our team.  The candidate will be required to work with large amounts of numerical data in a retail environment and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.  Additionally, you will need to provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting, taxation and financial practices and regulations and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Accountant Responsibilities:

    • Financial recording and record-keeping and reporting, including preparation of management and statutory information for internal and external stakeholder use and interpretation.
    • Compliance with relevant statutory and other legislation.
    • Implementing the principles of transparency and good corporate governance as they apply to the financial function.
    • Establish and maintain accounting procedures.
    • Creditors management.
    • Develop and maintain budgeting database.
    • Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
    • Drafting of financial statements on CaseWare.
    • Interact with external auditors in completing audits.
    • Responsible for the following departments activities:
    • Credit Control
    • Generation of cost variance reporting and analysis of findings
    • Supplier applications review and submit for approval.
    • Tax calculations and submissions on E-Filing. (Income Tax, Provisional Tax, VAT)
    • Managing Nedfleet Cards (Increases, queries etc)
    • Review and approve monthly creditors reconciliations.
    • Review and approve daily COD payments.
    • Review and approve monthly GL reconciliations.
    • STATS SA Submissions.

    Requirements

    • BCom or Bcompt + Articles and 2 years commercial experience preferred
    • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
    • Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
    • Attention to detail.

    Warehouse Manager - Pinetown (Pinetown)

    Description
    WAREHOUSE MANAGER - (Pinetown)

    • We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff.
    • Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
    • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance.
    • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
    • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
    • Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
    • Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
    • Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
    • Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
    • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
    • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
    • Manage pallets and labelling of stock.

    Requirements

    Skills & Experience

    • 3 – 5 years’ experience
    • Computer Literate
    • Attention to detail
    • Exceptional Customer Service

    Requirements

    • Matric/ Grade 12 (NSC)
    • Tertiary Qualification is advantageous
    • A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience
