PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE

Design User Interface Elements

• Collect and examine the needs of the user.
• Researching similar application designs and user interface modules.
• Design user interface elements menus, widgets, tabs, etc.
• Update web applications in line with user trends.
• Plan and develop new visual designs for computers, smartphones, and digital products.
• Illustrate the functions of the website and develop UI mock-ups and prototypes.
• Review and edit the mock-ups according to the client's feedback.

Design Quality Usable User Interfaces

• Meeting with the design team to discuss application features and design ideas.
• Presenting updated front-end designs for final sign-off.
• Consult software development engineers and product designers regarding the product.
• Use sitemaps, process flowcharts, and storyboards for illustration and depiction of designs.
• Present your designs to the development team and all the stakeholders.
• Follow and / or set the Adapt IT Education standards concerning style, colour schemes, and fonts, etc.  

Respond to Customers and Market demands

• Build and maintain relationships with Customers and Business Development to understand and anticipate customer needs and market demands.
• Provide input and work closely with Business Development and Product Owners to contribute towards the delivery of change requests and impact assessments.

Testing and Verification

• Conduct user tests of developed applications to evaluate user experience.
• •Ensure the solution is test friendly by creating effective mechanisms for test data, automated testing hooks and simulations.
• Ensure reported defects are categorised by priority and fixed as appropriate.
• Ensure the project management team is informed of potential risks stemming from defects. 

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Between 2 – 5 years of experience as a UX /UI Designer, UI Designer, UX Designer or a similar role.
• Proven background of graphic designing projects related to web and mobile applications.

SKILLS

• Ability to troubleshoot using HTML5 & CSS3 with web designers and web developers.
• Strong understanding of wireframe tools.
• Strong communication skills and a team-building spirit.
• Good time management skills.
• Strong knowledge of responsive and interactive designs.

Minimum requirements

Skills, Abilities and Experience Required

Must have Experience.

• Minimum 1 year experience in a professional software development role with Java development experience
• Knowledge of computer languages such as Golang, Groovy Script
• Experience working in Linux.
• Have had exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficient in the use of email systems and Microsoft Office software
• Understanding of Networking courses (TCP/IP, protocols, etc.).
• Exposure in Software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). 
• Compulsory Courses and Certifications:
• A tertiary Engineering or Computer Science degree.
• Advance courses in programming languages such as Java, Golang or similar.

The Primary Responsibilities for the role:

• Complete and accurate financial and management accounts reporting for all entities within the sector which includes Forecasting, month end reporting, consolidation of all VBUs, entities and geographies, quarterly, interim and year end  
• processes.
• Accurate and timely accounting on a customer, business unit, portfolio, project, and product level using best practice principals applicable to the ICT Telecoms sector.
• Strictly comply with group reporting timelines, particularly during QSR, interim and year end reporting periods.
• Prepare and finalise the audited Annual Financial Statements (AFS) using CaseWare for any entity forming part of the Telecoms VBUs.
• Responsible for applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including IFRS, corporate tax planning and structuring, VAT, WHT, solvency & liquidity and corporate governance.
• Prepare tax, vat, deferred tax computations and submissions, as applicable.
• Responsible for optimising and enhancing effective financial monitoring and driving continues improvements in the finance function.
• Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate financial records for all entities within the sector which includes the Trial Balance, with focus on Reconciliations for Provisions and Accruals.
• Review all monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, and balance sheet control of all bank accounts.
• Comply with all IFRS standards in Forecasting, management reporting and AFS, particularly IFRS 15, IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.
• Working capital management, including daily monitoring of cashflows, timely collection of debtors, with focus on reducing debtors’ days and managing creditors payments and associated reconciliation with focus on cost control.
• Approval of online release of purchase orders, with the review of contracts for commercial terms where applicable. Including the reconciliation and balance sheet control of all bank accounts.
• Understanding the Capex requirements, forecasting and fixed assets register management.
• Review all monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, and balance sheet control of all bank accounts.

• Implementation of a risk and control matrix, including monitoring and monthly attestation, in line with the Volaris and Statutory requirements for submission to group.

• Preparing tax, vat, deferred tax computations, as applicable.
• Implementation and maintenance of the risk governance process, ensuring business risk owners formulate and maintain required controls to reduce risk.
• Responsible for implementation of a risk and control matrix, including monitoring and monthly attestation, in line with the Shareholder requirements for submission to group.

Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Professional accounting certification - CA(SA)
• Postgrad qualification in business (MBA or equivalent) will be an advantage
• Written and spoken English
• Minimum 5 years relevant finance/accounting experience preferably in an ICT environment
• Strong influencing, communication and presentation skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities for the Role

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Opera Reports (Oracle Report Builder , Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Reports and Analytics) and Data exports at Customer sites.
• Responsible for providing professional training and knowledge transfer to the customer according to the scope of work.
• Actively supports the customer in all aspects through case resolution, keeping the customer informed and updated throughout life cycle of the case.
• Maintains historical records by documenting changes and revisions.
• Comply with support schedule adherence to ensure overall service level targets are achieved
• Project Implementation
• Meet with the Project Manager before commencement of an installation to be briefed on any special requirements and to collect all required documentation (airline tickets, visas, pre-installation packs, sign-off documents, licensing & support agreements, etc…).
• Hold telephonic meetings with Project Managers or via electronic mail or MS Teams.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Install the assigned products to the requirements and satisfaction of the customer and Management.
• If you are assigned a Project, the Opera Report Writer will co-ordinate all aspects of the installation as required.
• The Opera Report Writer will ensure to the best of his/her ability that each project will be completed within schedule.
• Conduct project sign-off meetings with the customer, during which the sign-off documentation is completed.
• Liaise with customer and manage each installation, training, refresher training, site visit or any other dealings that the company deems fit.
• Complete all sign off documentation and time sheets before leaving site after project completion.
• The Opera Report Writer will not leave site if any outstanding issues are not resolved without explicit permission from Management.
• The Opera Report Writer will arrange a handover meeting with the project manager upon returning from a customer site, during which the project manager will be briefed on all aspects of the installation.
• Create a copy of each customer latest stationery and store it at the Adapt IT offices. 
• Any major changes onsite to be communicated to the customer and Project Manager in writing.
• Produce training materials as required from time to time.
• Stay up to date with Oracle GLP’s training.
• Each Opera Report Writer is required to support the products assigned .
• All support calls are to be logged on CRM and updated when assigned to support duty.
• Opera Report Writer to have access to the UAT to test and troubleshoot new versions prior to release.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements

• University Degree in Hospitality Field or similar
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in Basic SQL
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Requirements and skills
• Proven knowledge in Oracle Hospitality Property Management System (PMS) products (Opera PMS and Opera Cloud)
• Good knowledge in OS and software deployment

The responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Review requirements and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed
• Use risk-based testing techniques to develop, maintain, and execute test suites.
• Contribute towards development of test practices for both web, windows, and mobile applications.
• Testing in agile environments, develop and execute test cases.
• Work as part of a sprint team to ensure project success and individually to continuously improve testing process.
• Proactively interact and partner with developers, product owners, test manager and other test analysts to identify best test strategies in order to support testing product functionality
• Develop, document, and communicate test plans, test reports, guides for ensuring quality software systems.

Creates Test Plans

• Converts the client requirements and design documents into a test plan, which serves as a blueprint to conduct software testing activities
• Obtains approval on test plan from the core project team.
• Compiles all test cases and test scenarios in accordance with the approved testing processes and tools
• Obtains approval on test deliverables from the test manager.

Executes Test Plans

• Conducts testing and follows testing checklists according to the established test plans.
• Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions to the development team.
• Validates and verifies system requirements and technical design specifications through identifying and reporting software defects.
• Documents and communicates any bugs/ issues to the development team.
• Provide action plans regarding retesting
• Retests all bugs and at times may be required to conduct a full system test once development team has implemented a solution to the initial bugs logged.
• Identifies types of errors according to priority. 

Manage testing throughout SDLC

• Reviews and assures user requirements according to the client requirements.
• Ensures that the business solution meets the clients’ objectives, is thoroughly tested and implemented smoothly according to the test plan.
• Guide the testing processes within the development environment
• Works closely with Business Analysts to ensure knowledge of products and future enhancements is up to date and comprehensive.

Minimum requirements

Education & Qualification

• IT related BSc/BCom/NDiploma
• ISTQB Certification
• MCSA: SQL Server - Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (Exam 70-461), will be an advantage  

Relevant Experience

• A minimum of 2 years software testing experience
• Experience of testing end to end solutions
• Risk based testing and test prioritisation (Risk identification, assessment, mitigation and management)
• Application of testing principles and techniques
• Exposure to load or performance testing will be an advantage
• Exposure to mobile application testing will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of MS SQL will be an advantage
• Previous development experience will be an advantage
