Minimum Requirements:

• Honours Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 8 qualification
• MFMA Certification
• 5 - 8 years' experience in a supply chain management environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure that resources required to support the strategic objectives are delivered at the correct time, at the right price, location, quantity and quality that will satisfy the needs
• Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall demand and financial practices, ensuring compliance with the MFMA and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy
• Provide strategic capability and leadership input to the divisional objectives to ensure that resources required to support the strategic objectives are met
• Ensure implementation of operational processes to regulate specific work to ensure the goods and services are delivered at the correct time, location, at the right quality and quantity
• Ensure adequate implementation of governance and risk management practices to ensure that there is proper governance and compliance and risk management
• Participate in implementation of financial process to ensure compliance in terms of the MFMA and other applicable legislation

Minimum Requirements:

• Supply Chain Management / Local Government Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
• 5 - 8 years' experience in a supply chain management environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure that goods and services are procured in accordance with authorised procurement processes
• Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall administrative and financial practices, ensuring compliance with the MFMA and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy
• Develop operational targets in support of tactical delivery plans and organisational strategic objectives in partnership with divisional leadership
• Manage and control all operational procurement
• Evaluate applicable new legislation and amendments to existing legislation
• Implement risk management, governance and compliance policy and processes to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability
• Monitor and enforce effective financial control, corporate governance and financial compliance
• Deliver on service level agreements that are aligned with the Batho Pele principles, monitor feedback and ensure continued customer satisfaction

Minimum Requirements:

• Information Technology Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
• MFMA Certification Specialist capabilities in Supply Chain Management
• 2 - 3 years' experience in a supply chain management environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Specialise in, report on and advise on supply chain management related activities for the division
• Perform operational process relating to the demand management to ensure effective tendering processes are followed in terms of the MFMA, other applicable legislation, regulations and National Treasury guidelines and CoE policies and procedures
• Assist with the compliance in terms of governance and risk management to maintain and promote good governance and compliance are adhered to and management of risk
• Establish customer service orientation to ensure effective operations management service delivery ensuring compliance with the Batho Pele principles

Minimum Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Diploma or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
• MFMA Certification will be an advantage
• 1 - 2 years' experience in a supply chain management environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, monitor and control the fair and transparent adjudication process of tenders
• Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall administrative and financial practices ensuring compliance with accounting practices and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy
• Provide input on strategic capability and leadership as requested by the Senior Manager to ensure that the required resources to support the strategic objectives are met
• Implement operational process on acquisition of bids to ensure effective tendering processes are followed in terms of the MFMA and other applicable legislation
• Assist with the compliance in terms of governance and risk management to maintain and promote good governance and compliance are adhered to and risk is eliminated
• Participate in the implementation of financial process to ensure adherence to specified standards, policies and SOPs to prevent and reduce wastage on financial resources and escalate associated risk
• Establish customer service orientation to ensure effective operations management service delivery ensuring compliance with the Batho Pele principles
