    Human Resources Administrator

    • Are you passionate about people, culture, and making a meaningful impact in a dynamic business? Decofurn is looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Administrator to support and drive key HR initiatives—from onboarding and probation to performance, wellness, and employee engagement.
    • As the HR Administrator, you will be an essential part of our HR team, playing a central role in creating a supportive and values-driven work environment. Your focus will include onboarding, probation, culture, wellness, and HR administration—ensuring our people processes run smoothly and employees feel valued and empowered.

    Responsibilities

    HR Administration & Support

    • Maintain employee data and HR records using Sage 300 People
    • Manage digital and manual filing systems
    • Provide admin support for employee relations, training, and recruitment

    Onboarding & Probation

    • Deliver seamless onboarding experiences
    • Conduct new employee orientation sessions
    • Track probation periods and support managers through structured reviews

    Culture & Engagement

    • Assist with driving initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and teamwork
    • Assist with recognition programs and team-building events
    • Assist in employee surveys and engagement campaigns

    Performance Support

    • Support performance review cycles and documentation
    • Assist with KPIs, PIPs, and follow-ups

    Wellness & Social Initiatives

    • Organise staff wellness campaigns
    • Coordinate internal events to strengthen team morale

    What We're Looking For

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • National Diploma/Degree in HR Management or related (advantageous)
    • Strong administration skills
    • 3+ years of experience in an HR Admin or similar role
    • Experience with Sage 300 People
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Returns & Repairs Supervisor (Montague Gardens)

    About the job

    • As the Repairs & Returns Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing the repair and processing of damaged, defective, and returned inventory. This includes supervising the repair team, managing reporting and records, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that all repair activities align with company procedures and safety regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the receiving and processing of damaged or returned stock
    • Manage the repairs workflow, from assessment to final inspection
    • Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting on job cards and control documents
    • Coordinate the preparation of items for resale, clearance, or disposal
    • Maintain stock of spare parts and ensure their proper storage and dispatch
    • Supervise a team, plan daily tasks, and monitor performance
    • Uphold cleanliness, safety, and tool/equipment management in the repairs area
    • Collaborate with inventory, dispatch, and finance teams on operational requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Retail/returns/warehouse experience (Minimum 3 years)
    • Furniture Repair/Handyman experience (Minimum 3 years)
    • Supervisory experience (Minimum 3 years)
    • Computer literate – Word, Outlook, Google Sheets & Excel
    • Proven experience in warehouse, repairs, or inventory operations
    • Strong planning, team supervision, and quality control skills
    • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
    • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to solve problems independently
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
