    Principal Global Business Services Process Specialist

    Your day at NTT DATA

    • The Principal Global Process Specialist is a highly skilled subject matter expert, responsible for streamlining, optimizing and transforming processes to drive efficiency and excellence in Global Business Services (GBS).
    • The role defines, develops, documents and tests the S2P end-to-end processes to support the business, enhance customer experience and achieve business objectives.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Leads on projects to simplify, standardise and improve processes.
    • Conducts As-Is analysis to identify process gaps and areas of improvement, ensuring these are mapped during the design process. Advises stakeholders on options.
    • Manages the business case and requirements gathering for new demands raised to the Global Process Excellence team
    • Assists with the proactive identification of business and/or operational process improvements through data analysis to ensure constructive suggestions for change.
    • Identifies potential cross-regional synergies and improvements that will ensure optimal performance within S2P area.
    • Ensures the preparation of detailed process diagrams and the accompanying documentation in terms of process design.
    • Engages with a variety of stakeholders and facilitates sessions to generate, review and update new improved processes.
    • Assists with the implementation and delivery of projects related to business process improvement and digital transformation, against a predetermined project plan.
    • Supports in maintaining various process documentation including process taxonomy, process maps, SOPs and WIs.
    • Responsible for reviewing documentation at periodic intervals with the GPOs and GBS service providers to ensure completeness and updates for any changes.
    • Performs any other related tasks as required.

    Knowledges and Attributes:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
    • Broad knowledge of the S2P process (Purchasing & Invoicing) and experience in delivering continuous improvement within.
    • Results-focused and continuous learner and highly motivated to develop and share knowledge.
    • Broad knowledge of process mapping as a method of visualizing and documentation software eg Signavio.
    • Resolves wide range of issues in creative ways.
    • Excellent ability to work in multi-cultural environment (this will require managing time zones and travel).
    • Broad knowledge of the S2P processes and experience in delivering continuous improvement.
    • Experience in standardizing processes across multiple regions and departments.
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret process data and metrics.
    • Project management expertise to lead process improvement initiatives.
    • Change management experience to drive adoption of new processes and practices.
    • Ability to establish and maintain process documentation and standards.
    • Problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles related to process governance.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining process quality and compliance.

    Academic qualifications and certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business Management or a related field preferred.
    • Lean / Six sigma qualification or equivalent, CIPS accreditation preferred.

    Required experience:

    • Extended experience driving process improvement, simplification, process reengineering, or related roles
    • Extended experience analysing and optimising finance processes
    • Experience in standardizing processes across multiple regions and departments.

    • The Legal Advisor will provide support within the Legal Services Team by assisting in the drafting, review, and negotiation of legal documents, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations across commercial, corporate, litigation, and other legal matters.     Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements and correspondence independently or under supervision.
    • Build effective working relationships with various business teams and internal stakeholders to provide timely legal support.
    • Undertake legal research and prepare clear, concise advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
    • Engage proactively with internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
    • Assist in the periodic review of company policies to ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
    • Identify potential legal and contractual risks and provide practical, solution-oriented recommendations.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies, templates, and process improvements.
    • Assist in developing internal processes to manage legal risk across business functions.
    • Investigate and report on customer and stakeholder queries as required.
    • Support with co-ordination of litigious matters and briefing external counsel when required.
    • Provide regular reports on the status of legal issues being dealt with.
    • Ensure that all relevant information regarding legal matters is accurate and kept up to date by updating the legal activity progress documents and providing regular reports on problem status to the relevant management teams and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate high levels of integrity and professionalism

    Qualifications and Experience

    • LLB Degree (or equivalent legal qualification). Admitted attorney.
    • 2–5 years’ post‑qualification experience, preferably in a law firm, corporate, IT or technology‑focused legal environment.
    • Foundational experience in commercial law, drafting, and negotiation.
    • Ability to provide practical legal solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Strong research, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong analytical, general commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to supervise multiple matters, and to work independently and effectively with various in-house clients, peers and other parties.
