There are times when our software users need knowledgeable support from an empathetic customer success consultant - that's where you come in. As technical support your main duties would be as follows:

1. Analyse knowledgebase user engagement data and contribute helpful content to improve the customer experience.
2. Receive, analyse and manage customer support cases and provide meaningful solutions to ensure customer success. (new or existing knowledge base articles, remote support, scheduled training, troubleshooting and advice)
3. Provide customers with space planning advice that goes beyond mere technical support to ensure that they achieve their goals.
4. Analyse customer support cases to determine new features to be logged for development and deployment/ software errors to be logged for immediate fixing.
5. Since customers are creating plans which are dependent on accurate data you will be required to provide data analysis, processing and validation using excel and SQL. (A mandatory course for this will be a part of your onboarding).
6. Since many of our customers are in different time zones and we seek to provide them with exceptional support you will be subject to a rotational on-call schedule. Making yourself available for “On-call” time is remunerated over and above your monthly total cost to company salary.

1. Any relevant IT certificates or qualifications would be advantageous.
2. Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
3. An additional language will be advantageous, specifically Spanish, Portuguese, French or another widely spoken language.
4. At least 1 year minimum experience in a similar position

What would the job entail?

As a Category Planner at DotActiv you would be responsible for :

(By utilising DotActiv’s Category Planning Software)

• Creating strategic assortment plans;
• Designing data-driven floor space plans;
• Planning and building data-driven shelf plans;
• Conducting floor and space plan analytical reviews;
• Developing optimised cluster plans per product category using the cluster
• optimizer and maintenance tools in the DotActiv software;
• Analysing the cluster plan and profiling each cluster to deliver strategic insights to clients;
• Maximising customer and category performance by considering category strategies and plans, product financial performance, shopper psychology and aesthetic appeal; and
• Supporting, advising and guiding retail customers where required.

Requirements

• Creative flair and ability to identify aesthetic/visual appeal.
• 2+ years of similar and relevant experience in the Retail Sector
• Strong Interpersonal Skills.
• Computer Literacy - MS Office.
• Driver’s license and own transport.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Team player.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Must have strong analytical skills and be able to use data analysis techniques and how to apply these to business situations;
• You must have a high capacity to represent the DotActiv brand as a specialist;
• You must have a high degree of internal client engagement;
• Consumer Science, Business/Marketing or Supply Chain related degree is a must.
