    Sales Consultant - Pest Control & Hygiene (Milnerton/Century City)

    Description

    • Ecowize is looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join the Pest Control & Hygiene division in Cape Town. If you have a passion for sales and proven experience in the Pest Control & Hygiene industry, this position is for you.

    Summary of responsibilities:

    • Pre-planning Weekly Sales Prospects.
    • Meet Monthly and Annual Sales Target.
    • Filing reports on-line.
    • Maintain Service Records and Documentation.
    • Achieving daily and weekly call ratios to ensure targets are met.
    • Will be responsible to generate their own leads by means of cold calling.
    • Client site surveys and to supply solutions to the clients.
    • Preparing quotations/proposals/tenders and presentations.
    • Consolidate data in order to facilitate management reporting.
    • Develop and implement a growth strategy that focuses on specific market segments.
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

    Requirements

    • Excellent selling, communication, and strong negotiation skills.
    • Highly computer literate: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • 3 Years sales experience in the service industry.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
    • High work standards, excellent communication skills, energetic and driven. 
    • Good administration and computer skills.
    • Previous experience in Pest Control and Hygiene will be an advantage.

    Pest & Hygiene Technician - Boland Region (Boland)

    Description

    • Ecowize Pest Control and Hygiene Division is looking for a experienced and certified Pest Control and Hygiene Technician to join the Pest Control & Hygiene Team in the Western Cape (Boland region)
    • The purpose of this role is to determine the best treatment regarding pest control and ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to the customer. 
    • The Pest Control & Hygiene Technician must ensure that all services are planned and completed in line with the customer agreements signed. The successful incumbent will also be accountable and responsible for equipment and consumables used to complete the services.
    • You will be responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects, rodents and other pests.
    • Then determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them.
    • Spray chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.
    • Identify invading pests, including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs.
    • Set mechanical traps and place bait. Remove dead rodents after extermination. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • P-Registration with Department of Agriculture.
    • Pest Control Operator experience essential.
    • Able to work flexible hours and overtime.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
    • The successful incumbent must have the following skillsets:
    • Good understanding and knowledge of the Pest Control Industry and service orientated.
    • Logical thinker as well as strategic and organized.

    x15 Hygiene Operators - Standerton (Mpumalanga)

    Description

    • Purpose is to sufficiently clean the plant according to Ecowize Standards, by following and taking full responsibility of the 10-Steps Cleaning Process.

    Summary of responsibilities: 

    • Daily perform the 10-steps of cleaning according to the food safety standards to produce a food-safe site.
    • Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment.
    • Responsible for all Operational activities related to daily cleaning (CIP and Deep Clean Processes).
    • Maintain a great customer relationship and meet customer expectations.
    • Manage and daily tasks according to schedule.

    Requirements
    Job Requirements: 

    • Grade 12.  
    • Deep Cleaning experience is essential. 
    • Wet plant cleaning experience is advantageous.
    • Able and willing to work different shifts. 
    • Chemical Stock control experience is essential. 
    • Ability to follow and complete daily work instructions.

    Operations and Systems Support (Kwazulu Natal)

    Description

    • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our operations team in KwaZulu Natal as an Operations and Systems Support.
    • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative, maintenance, procurement, and operational support, ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day activities across multiple platforms and operations across various sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administrative Support

    • Provide administrative assistance on internal systems (e.g iLeader and PRP)
    •  Capturing of operations related data for sites in the KZN region
    • May be required to organize and structure shifts on the PRP platform, aligning them with the washing activity schedule for various sites from time to time.
    • Attend client meetings and provide necessary support.’
    • Monitoring of SLA requirements
    • Work order billing
    • Weekly wage analysis
    • Job Order Control per site
    • General administration

    Maintenance Coordinating:

    • Oversee the management of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling regular services, conducting weekly inspections, ensuring up-to-date licensing, and monitoring fuel consumption via Avis and other tracking systems.

    Procurement and Purchasing:

    • Process purchase requests through the eWorkflow system and/or directly with suppliers for the procurement of spare parts, personal protective equipment (PPE), accessories, tyres, fuel, and other relevant items.

    Site Visits and Stock Delivery:

    • Occasionally visit sites with the Operations Manager and Area Manager teams.
    • Assist with stock deliveries and other operational needs.

    Operational Support:

    • Provide operational support by stepping in as a Site Manager when required, ensuring the continued smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
    • Taking micro swabs as required.

    Client Engagement

    • Participate in and present information during client meetings as required.
    • Represent management in client meetings when needed.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Valid driver’s license and own transport
    • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage and priorities workload.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in an admin or management role
    • Previous experience in equipment maintenance coordination
    • Ability to work independently
    • Project Management skills
    • Strong customer service skills (dealing with multiple customers)
    • Knowledge of the Cleaning or Service industry will be advantageous

    The successful incumbent will have the following skillsets:

    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Applications (Intermediate level)
    • Professional Communication skills (verbal & written)
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Strong administrative skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Strong attention to detail
