    Complaints Assessor

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • NQF Level 7 health-related qualification plus current registration with a health statutory council.
    • 3 years professional (clinical and/ or non-clinical) experience in the field of study.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Assist with the development, implementation, monitoring & evaluation (M & E), and reporting on complaints screening strategies and plans.
    • Assist with the implementation and comply with procedures for internal collaboration and information sharing on complaints against practitioner registered in terms of the Health Professions Act.
    • Implement legislative prescripts, policy, procedures, guidelines and standards.
    • Receive complaints, record and screen the contents of each complaint.
    • Peruse and analyse the contents and details of each complaint.
    • Referral of complaints categorised as minor for mediation.
    • Referral of complaints categorised as serious for preliminary investigation.
    • Referral of complaints to relevant departments and/ or relevant entities.
    • Identification of high-profile matters and matters where the practitioner is posing danger to members of the public.
    • Management of data and compliance with data governance principles, POPIA, PAIA, etc.
    • Alert the Head of Division of any complaints where the practitioner is posing danger to members of the public, high-profile matters and/or matters of public interest.
    • Request affidavit from complainants and all relevant information timeously.
    • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the trends of complaints.
    • Perform ad-hoc duties as may be required by the Head of Division: Complaints Handling and Investigations.

    Oracle Applications Database Administrator

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

    • Bachelor’s degree OR NQF L7 qualification in Information Technology. 
    • Oracle Certification. 
    • 5 years Oracle Applications Database experience. 
    • 5 years Oracle e-Business suite experience. 
    • 3 years Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience. 
    • 3 years Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) experience

    ADDED ADVANTAGE 

    • Cloud Computing certification. 

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 

    • Manage, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases across on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to ensure availability, performance, and scalability. Perform regular backups, apply patches, and support disaster recovery processes aligned with organizational policies. 
    • Design, develop, and maintain efficient backend code using SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript/PHP and Shell scripting to support business applications and services. Collaborate with development teams to implement database logic and ensure seamless integration with Oracle Cloud-hosted applications and services. 
    • Conduct in-depth analysis and optimization of database and application performance across hybrid environments. Utilize Oracle performance tools and Autonomous Database features to proactively detect and resolve performance bottlenecks. 
    • Provide timely and effective resolution of database and application related issues, including incidents occurring in Oracle Cloud. Use OCI monitoring, diagnostics, and logging tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations. 
    • Enforce database, applications and cloud security policies by managing roles, privileges, and encryption mechanisms. Utilize Oracle Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) to control secure access and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements. 
    • Configure, support, and troubleshoot integrations between EBS, OSvC, and third-party systems using OIC or other middleware. 
    • Monitor interface logs, resolve integration failures, and enhance system interoperability. 
    • Manage and enforce role-based access controls across EBS, OSvC, and OCI. 
    • Ensure systems are audit-ready and adhere to internal and external compliance requirements. 
    • Design and implement ETL and data integration processes to support analytics and data warehousing requirements using Oracle tools and OCI services. Automate routine operations and deployment workflows using scripting, Oracle Cloud Resource Manager, or DevOps pipelines. 
    • Enable digital transformation by leveraging Oracle Cloud services, such as Autonomous Database, Object Storage, and Data Integration, to modernize legacy processes and improve operational efficiency. 
    • Work cross-functionally with developers, system administrators, and business units to deliver backend solutions aligned with strategic goals. Maintain comprehensive documentation of database environments, processes, and issue resolutions to support continuity and transparency.
