    Senior DevOps Support Engineer

    Responsibilities/Tasks:

    • Design, development, implementation, migration and support of a comprehensive build and release management process and technical solution to support the development processes, using existing tools as a starting point, but building on the same or other open source, and possibly commercial tools, moving forward.
    • Support the adoption of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development, and Agile best practices, processes, and tools.
    • Design and develop and implement improvements for the current build and test and deployment systems (from development stage to production).
    • Perform support and troubleshooting of the various development tools / systems.
    • Ensure the uptime and availability and performance of all components of the solution.
    • Support program and project specific requirements that may arise.
    • Perform project builds and releases when assistance is required – this is key to identifying areas of improvement.
    • Improve security along all phases of the SDLC including scanning for code quality and vulnerabilities.
    • Some afterhours work will be required from time to time.

    Requirements

    Essential Minimum Requirements

    • Matric
    • 6-8 years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a software development environment with cloud technologies, preferably Azure DevOps.
    • 6-8 years of experience in DevOps, Automation, Scripting and building CI/CD pipelines using on-premises and cloud technologies.
    • 3+ years of experience in Linux based operating systems.
    • 3+ years of experience in bash scripting.
    • 3+ years of docker experience.
    • 2+ year of experience with a provisioning tool like ansible, puppet or chef.
    • Solid understanding of networking.

    Advantageous skills and experience

    • B.Sc or B.Eng in Computer Science, or ND:IT .
    • Experience in working with Jenkins or other orchestrators.
    • Experience with docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
    • Experience in working with Git.
    • Experience in working with Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
    • Experience in working with XL-deploy.
    • Experience in working with Graphing/logging (Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Elasticsearch).
    • Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and practices.

    HR Officer

    Key Performance areas

    Administrative duties

    • Organise, compile, update company employee records and documentation.
    • Manage and update HR databases.
    • Prepare, manage and store HR documentation such as HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar activities.
    • Assist in posting job ads internally/externally.
    • Screen all applications shortlisted by the recruitment portal.
    • Update recruitment admin on a weekly basis.
    • Organize and manage new employee induction sessions, on-boarding and training programs.
    • Organise training and send invites to training delegates and all aspects pertaining to training.
    • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
    • All performance related admin via the system.
    • Action all HR end-to-end procurement requests.

    Requirements

    Core Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric) with an HR qualification.
    • Sage 300 working experience compulsory for at least 3 - 4 years.
    • Previous experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3 - 4 years.
    • Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Signify working experience advantageous.
