    HR Payroll Administrator - East London

    Main Missions :

    • To provide a holistic end-to-end payroll function, which includes management and maintenance of all payroll 3rdparty payments, month end reporting, leave and bonus administration, time and attendance and maintenance of employee records.
    • Full payroll function for all weekly employees on Sage VIP including activation of leave pay and bonus
    • Process all leave administration
    • Process payroll month end reports including  payments and reconciliations for all 3rdparty payroll deductions, such as provident fund, medical aid, insurance, and garnishees
    • Responsible for the administration of the Time and Attendance system –Astrow/ SACS
    • Preparation and distribution of detailed payroll reports including labour hours, headcount, leave and bonus
    • Workmans’ Compensation administration and submissions
    • TES invoice checks and reconciliation
    • Address any employee payroll queries
    • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records 

    To be successful for this role :

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

    • Minimum Matric, relevant human resources qualification would be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant Sage VIP payroll experience .
    • Knowledge of Astrow / SACS time and attendance system advantageous.
    • Good administrative experience and computer skills is essential
    • The ideal candidate would display a  high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    Accounting Administrator - Port Elizabeth

    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Daily processing of invoices and returns to suppliers and liaising with suppliers
    • Prepare monthly vendor reconciliations and payments for electronic transfer
    • Monthly tracking, investigation and resolution of outstanding reconciling items
    • Weekly cashflow forecasting of accounts payable balances
    • Prepare month end accruals for costs not processed within accounting period
    • Internal control and SOX monitoring functions
    • Analysis of general ledger accounts
    • Relief / stand-in support for issuing, maintaining and consolidating weekly time and attendance of        labourbroker hours worked
    • Other ad hoc finance and accounting activities assigned in support of the finance function 

    Key skills and Qualifications:

     EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics.  A relevant tertiary qualification or studies towards a relevant tertiary qualification would be highly advantageous.

    RELATED EXPERIENCE

    • 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.  Experience gained in the automotive industry would be advantageous.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • A working knowledge of SAP ERP system would be advantageous.  General computer skills need to be above average.  The ideal person would be honest, reliable, methodical and possess strong assertive skills.
