    Foundation Programme Coordinator Mr Price Group

    Job Description

    • The Programme Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Mr Price Foundation programs aimed at reducing youth unemployment.

    Responsibilities

    • Programme Support:
    • Assist in the implementation of program activities and initiatives aimed at addressing youth unemployment.
    • Support the coordination of workshops, training sessions, and events for youth participants.
    • Help maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation related to program activities and participants.
    • Send communication to stores on candidates attending work experience.
    • Administrative Tasks:
    • Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager and other team members as needed.
    • Handle correspondence, inquiries, and requests from program stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
    • Application and Onboarding Support:
    • Assist program candidates on selected programs with the application process, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Coordinate the collection and processing of application materials, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
    • Support the onboarding process for selected candidates, including preparing and distributing onboarding paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions.
    • Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Assist in the collection and analysis of data for monitoring program performance and evaluating outcomes.
    • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate program results to stakeholders.
    • Contribute to ongoing efforts to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 1 year experience or exposure to program coordination, administration, or youth development, either through internships, volunteer work, or coursework.
    • Project Management - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
    • Good computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Passion for addressing youth unemployment issues and making a positive impact in communities.

    • We have a requirement for a new Business Analyst (Automation) within our technology team.

    Responsibilities

    • Support all phases of testing to ensure requirements as detailed in the Business Requirement Specification document have been delivered and are ready for release.
    • Assist with implementation of improved or automated bussiness process to ensure smooth change management.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant IT or Business Degree/ Diploma
    • 3 years’ experience as Business Analyst or relevant business experience in an process improvement, Analytical environment.
    • Demonstrated experience of assessing the costs and benefits of potential changes to business processes
    • Knowledge of the Retail sector and broad understanding of traditional and new technologies used in a retail and online environment is required.
    • The type of person who will ask the right questions and probe where needed.

    Web Integrator Mr Price Money

    Job Description

    • Develop, plan and execute digital publishing within various platforms to ensure excellent customer experience to show case the Mr Price Money brand and Sub Brands (including Mr Price Cellular). 
    • Ensure the website is stable (in conjunction with IT) and updated to drive credit sales, cellular sales, account acquisition and an all round good customer experience.
    • Driving website efficiencies, ensuring the Ecommerce platform is commercially viable.

    Responsibilities

    • Content development, Planning & Execution                   
    • Work collaboratively with the Creative team to understand brief requirements and timelines.
    • Measure effectiveness by creating tracking for all digital work. 
    • Develop plans for activities and timelines for code development work to ensure deadlines are achieved.                      
    • Technology Alignment                     
    • Maintain an up to date skill set in web development programmes, web development technologies as well as Email marketing coding standards to ensure Mr Price Money platforms are aligned to most recent technology adjustments.                                    
    • E-Commerce Support           
    • Collaborate and provide support to the broader E-commerce team in the areas of Reporting, retouching and Magento to ensure deadlines are met                   
    • Working closely with the digital marketing team to drive ecommerce efficiencies, ensuring the websites achieve sales targets and are commercially viable.              

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 & Tertiary qualification in IT                                                                       
    • 3-4 years experience                                                                          
    • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Enterprise Content Management systems, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, Magento, Dotdigital                                                     
    • Merchant business processes, customer experiences
