    Key Accounts Manager

    Primary Objectives:
    Customer Base

    • Managing the assigned customer base, building strong relationships and driving key product lines
    • Assisting with ALL customer enquiries when needed
    • Contact details to be updated on Customer Base and on ERP system
    • Managing the credit limit available and cover where needed.
    • Ensure that accounts are current, and queries resolved
    • Signing up new customers that meet the criteria
    • Sales & Pipeline Management
    • Adequately understand the order process on Rectron’s ERP system. Read customer requests carefully, ensuring that quotes are done quickly and accurately
    • Ensure month on month growth in partner base across all brands
    • Identify new markets, business opportunities, grow and service existing customers
    • Ensure that the team pipeline is accurately up to date and maintain pipeline coverage in order to achieve monthly sales targets
    • Work with the Rectron Product Management team to identify opportunities for growth across all Rectron brands
    • Build, develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
    • Represent Rectron at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    • Understand and successfully complete the sales cycle to meet monthly targets

    Query Management

    • Should there be any queries on orders by partners, ensure that queries are raised with the correct department as quickly as possible and then providing all stakeholders with the necessary feedback

    Knowledge

    • Maintain a good level of knowledge across all Rectron product and solution offerings
    • Online training must be up to date and completed when required
    • Attending scheduled internal and external training sessions when needed (after 17:00 or weekends if needed)
    • Share knowledge within the team using internal tools Identify client’s markets, design a sales strategy to fit each client’s requirements while advising clients on upcoming product developments
    • Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends

    Communications

    • Communicate in a clear and professional manner both internally and externally
    • Ensure that all quotes are responded to within the Rectron SLA time frame
    • Proactively communicate status updates to resellers, especially in times where there might be a delay in operations
    • Clear communications with internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Warehouse, Admin etc.)
    • Proactively keep your Sales Manager up to date with regards to your pipeline

    Education/Qualification

    • Minimum: Matric or higher education preferably Sales/IT qualification

     

    Experience (experience required for the job)

    • At least 2 years’ experience in an IT sales environment
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft suite applications
    • Relevant brand knowledge and excellent communication engagement.
    • Business acumen refers to a high level of alertness to the business landscape
    • Strong customer relationships
    • Self-motivated and driven to go beyond the sales targets given

    Outputs and Responsibilities

    • Passionate about new technologies and has the capability of understanding industrial solutions both from commercial and technical side
    • Able to develop new sales channels and support marketing online/offline events
    • Have experience managing sales channels/ resellers network by setting up sales target and discussing sales and marketing strategies
    • Good presentation skills and works well in a team
    • Good reporting skills and details oriented
    • Able to travel frequently to meet existing and new customers
    • Have previous experiences in mining, land surveying or security system integration will be an advantage 
    • Have experience flying remote controlled aircraft will be an advantage

    Qualifying Criteria

    • Minimum: Entry-level with exposure to HR practices

    DJI Agri - Business Development Manager

    Education/Qualification

    • Matric
    • University degree with either a business or information technology background advantageous 

    Experience (experience required for the job)

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sale (farm equipment or products) or IT technical environment
    • Exceptional customer service experience
    • Computer Literate

    Outputs and Responsibilities

    Business Opportunities

    • Identifying new markets, and business opportunities, grow and service existing customers
    • Identify client markets and design a sales strategy to fit each client’s requirements
    • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
    • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
    • Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends
    • Train different sales teams on numerous Renewable consumer & industrial memory product range
    • Complete all allocated training
    • Target, GP, and Customer Breadth targets to be sent out monthly and approved
    • Achieve exceptional ratings in client services
    • Give regular training sessions to the sales internal and external teams
    • Drive sales of  product range, by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sale opportunities
    • Once per month give a report to relevant parties explaining the strategy for the following month including weaknesses and measures
    • Assist with quotes and orders

    Representation

    • Represent Rectron at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
    • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets given
    • Understand and successfully complete the sales cycle to meet monthly targets

    Relationships, Admin and Sales

    • Provides Dealer with necessary product support and maintain the relationship between the customer and Service
    • Follows up with work in progress to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt delivery of goods
    • Responds to messages received through e-mail or telephone
    • Take steps to ensure
    • Messages are being responded to when not available
    • Handles queries, issues, complaints, and requests
    • Completes necessary administration i.e. faxed quotes and orders by keeping records
    • Hold dealer awareness events for brand promotion
    • Attend product training programs and study and know the relevant product range
    • Escalate problematic issues to the Sales or Product Managers timeously
    • Informing the database of new content uploaded on the intranet where relevant
    • Selling key components as required by management or PM
    • Manage Database of Credit availability and highlight problems to the accounts department
    • Assist with other job-related duties as and when required
    • General admin and upkeep of database
    • General update and maintenance of all admin and filing
