Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Tally Clerk. The Tally Clerk is responsible for accurately counting and recording inventory in a warehouse or distribution center using tallying equipment.
• The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Count and record inventory using tallying equipment
• Ensure accurate and timely tallying of goods
• Maintain inventory records and reports
• Verify and reconcile discrepancies in inventory counts
• Assist with inventory audits as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a tally clerk or in a similar role preferred
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
