Jobs Available at ST Peters Preparatory Schools

Duties (not an exhaustive list):

• Ensuring the safety of the children by checking playground equipment and toys
• Ensuring children play safely
• Engage with parents and address concerns in the Manager’s absence
• Take initiative and act decisively
• Help to maintain a neat and organised Aftercare area
• Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times
• Filing and documentation for accurate records keeping
• Attending to children who are not well or injured

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Matric
• Minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with children
• Current First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
• Working hours to be confirmed with your Line Manager will be from 12h00 – 18h00, Aftercare will run from approximately 12h00 – 18h00 each day. Hours and expectations may differ slightly during school holidays.

• Teach the Anglican Divinity Curriculum to Grades 3 – 7 boys and girls
• Lead chapel services when required across all grades
• Manage and train servers
• Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
• Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Qualification
• At least 3 years’ full-time experience teaching
• SACE Registration
• Completed Anglicare Counselling Course would be advantageous
• Anglican Lay Minister’s Licence would be advantageous
• Active involvement in parish ministry
