    Human Capital Business Partner - Johannesburg

    Objectives of Role

    • Partner with leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive Human Capital strategy aligned with E2’s overall business objectives.
    • Oversee all aspects of the talent management process, including recruitment, onboarding, performance achievement, and career development.
    • Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Manage talent relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary issues.
    • Ensure compliance with all labour laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records.
    • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels.

    Manage payroll in collaboration with Shiriki (Shared Services).
    Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field (master's in industrial psychology degree preferred).
    • 10+ years of experience in a generalist HR role.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies.
    • Strong understanding of employment law and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Research & Measurement Specialist - Cape Town/ Johannesburg

    Objectives of Role

    Improved Measurement and Reporting

    • Aligned Measurement Framework: A consistent measurement framework will be established across all entities within the group, ensuring everyone is tracking progress towards the same goals using the same methods.
    • Standardised Data Collection: Data will be collected consistently, making it easier to compare results across different programs and initiatives.
    • Improved Data Management: A central data system will be designed or implemented, allowing for efficient data storage, analysis, and reporting.
    • Meaningful Reports and Dashboards: Clear and insightful reports and dashboards will be developed to communicate measurement findings to stakeholders.
    • Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of measruement projects

    Enhanced Decision-Making

    • Stronger Programmatic Decisions: By having better data on what's working and where there is space to improve, the group can make more informed decisions about their philanthropic programs.
    • Strategic Alignment: Measurement will inform strategic planning and ensure all entities are working towards the same goals.
    • Research: Best Practice: Ensure the measurement team has up to date access to global best practice in impact measurement in the field of entrepreneurship in Africa.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Min qualification: Masters
    • Min Exp: + 5 years in research, Management Studies/Economics/Entrepreneurship and or relevant areas
    • Prefeereds Exp 7+ years of experience in a measurement/data analysis role with a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, analysis, and reporting

    Competencies

    • Measurement: Critically assess existing measurement frameworks and recommend evidence-based improvements for the Group's philanthropic initiatives.
    • Data Collection: Utilising a mixed methods approach (surveys, interviews, data mining) to gather comprehensive data.
    • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to work with complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
    • Data Visualisation: Creating clear and compelling charts and graphs to communicate complex data findings to a non-technical audience.
    • Data Management: Experience with data storage, cleaning, and analysis tools.
    • Project Management: Ability to manage projects related to measurement framework development, data collection, and reporting.
    • Learning Agility: Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in measurement and evaluation.
    • Technology Adoption: Staying up-to-date with the latest measurement and data analysis tools and being comfortable integrating new technologies into the group's measurement framework.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex information understandably.
    • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a team, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate uncertainty and find solutions to complex measurement challenges.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and a meticulous approach to ensure data accuracy.
