    Technical Lead - Screen Nightshift

    MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the promotional printing industry.
    • Proven track record in delivering technical training programmes in a production environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization.
    • Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices related to machine operation and maintenance.
    • Expertise in the specific software and tools used in the production department, including design software, print management systems, and quality control tools. (Where applicable).

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREA

    • Assess the technical skills of team members and identify areas for improvement.
    • Identify training needs and develop training plans for team members, in consultation with the Trainer.
    • Develop and implement training programs in collaboration with the Trainer to enhance technical abilities.
    • Work closely with the Trainer to organize and conduct training sessions to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
    • Conduct regular audits of processes to identify areas of improvement.
    • Define and enforce process standards, in consultation with the Technical Manager, to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Implement corrective measures to address process breaks and deviations, with guidance from the Technical Manager
    • Establish quality control procedures and standards, with support from the Technical Manager.
    • Liaise with the Technical Manager and Production Managers to resolve quality-related issues.
    • Improve technical skill and ability in process control to improve the quality of the department.
    • Reduce and remove rejects from production.

    Trainer- Screen Nightshift

    MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • Grade 10 / Standard 8.
    • Technical qualification will be advantageous.
    • Manufacturer technical experience.
    • MS Office (Excel, Power point, Word etc)
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the promotional printing industry.
    • Agile working model experience.
    • Knowledge of current industry trends, advancements, and best practices in the promotional printing industry.

    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance overall quality standards in the department.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
    • Identify skill gaps and training needs within the department.
    • Analyse existing workflows and processes to identify opportunities for optimization with Stake holders.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and best practices along with trainers and relevant stakeholders.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to drive decision-making and prioritize improvement initiatives.
    • Drive compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act in the department.
