    Senior Tax Manager

    About the role:

    • Apex is seeking a qualified tax accountant with a passion to further develop their knowledge and skills in an exciting and challenging role. The new role will be based in Cape Town and will report into the Director of Tax Compliance, who is also based in Cape Town. The role will ultimately report into Apex’s Global Head of Tax based in London.
    • The ideal candidate will need to have a good understanding of corporation tax compliance issues and experience of managing tax filings on an international basis.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Working with external tax advisors to manage the groups international tax compliance obligations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to evolving tax legislation
    • Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting under IFRS/UK GAAP and provide input into group consolidated reporting
    • Responsibility for managing the group’s tax cash flow position and ensuring all tax payments are correctly reflected in plan/budget
    • Preparing and reviewing of VAT computations across the group (in select jurisdictions)
    • Involvement in preparing local transfer pricing files
    • Working with the director of compliance and reporting to ensure adherence to the group’s tax risk management framework

    Candidate Requirements:

    • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with more than 5 years PQE
    • Strong understanding of corporate income taxes and exposure to international tax matters
    • Experience with IFRS tax provisioning
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across finance, legal, and operational teams

    Revenue Analysis & Performance Leader

    Role Purpose

    • The VP, Revenue Performance & Reporting is responsible for producing and governing Apex Group’s group level revenue reporting and performance cadence. The role ensures executive and board stakeholders have a clear, consistent, and decision ready view of revenue performance, risks, and outlook.
    • Reporting to the Head of Revenue Governance & Strategy, this role owns the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and board level revenue reporting cycle, acting as the central point of accountability for revenue performance visibility.

    Key Responsibilities

    Revenue Performance Reporting & Cadence

    Own group level revenue reporting, including:

    • Weekly pipeline, wins, and progression updates (Monday)
    • Group revenue forecasts (Friday)
    • Monthly, quarterly, and board reporting.
    • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all revenue performance outputs.
    • Translate complex data into clear executive narratives, highlighting risks, variances, and outlook.

    Forecast & Performance Quality Control

    • Act as the quality gate on group forecasts and performance commentary.
    • Validate assumptions, investigate discrepancies, and challenge unexplained variances ahead of executive review.
    • Ensure performance discussions are fact based, comparable, and decision oriented.

    Executive & Board Reporting

    Compensation & Governance Support

    • Coordinate preparation of sales compensation analyses and review materials, working closely with HR, Finance, and Revenue Strategy.

    • Partner with Systems & Territory Ops and Analytics teams on controlled implementation.

    Leadership Support

    Experience, Skills & Profile

    Required

    • 7–10 years’ experience in Revenue Operations, Revenue Analytics, Commercial Operations, FP&A, or Performance Management.
    • Strong hands on technical capability:
    • Advanced SQL – able to independently pull and validate data
    • Salesforce expertise (essential) – reporting, dashboards, data structures
    • Power BI expertise (essential) – building and interpreting leadership dashboards
    • Proven experience producing board level and executive reporting, including forecasts, variance analysis, and performance narratives.
    • High proficiency in PowerPoint, with clear, structured, executive ready output under tight deadlines.

    Senior Financial Accountant – Group Finance and Accounting

    Description

    • We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager. The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for producing the financial outputs and required to implement processes to ensure the production of the accounting results is simple, relevant, and efficient. The role will involve reporting and presentation of the financial results to the business, its decision makers, external stakeholders and Group Finance.

    Job specification

    • Responsible for the complete accounting operations across multiple entities.

    Description

    • The role involves the management of the end-to-end delivery to clients in the Asset Allocator Operations team.  The individual will be required to manage the team, assisting with issues coming out of the operations, supporting the team, monitoring of the performance of the team, management reporting for the area, and ensuring processes are followed and standards are adhered to.
