DUTIES:

• Repair and service to the full range of Bell Equipment’s earth moving machines:-
• strip, assess, quote, plan, repair & complete accident damage or rebuild machines.
• strip, assess & rebuild machine components, including engine, transmission, axles, pumps etc.
• diagnose & repair drive line, cooling fuel, air & hydraulic systems.
• plan for parts & equipment required for specific repairs.
• use computer to order, create pick list, quotes etc.
• Write technical Reports

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Mechanics with a minimum of N2 trade theory, engineering science, applied maths & engineering drawing.
• 5 years post trade experience in mechanical repair field
• Advanced auto electrical diagnostic capabilities.
• Basic welding skills.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate.
• Extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Valid code 10 driver’s licence.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Bell knowledge.
• Applicants must have their own set of tools.

DUTIES:

• Planned, frequency determined, customer visits.
• Provide technical assistance.
• Client contact.
• Ensure that parts and labour sales budgets are achieved.
• Technical diagnosis of customer problems.
• Provide immediate corrective action or feedback to service staff.
• Installations/machine hand overs including operator training & maintenance training.
• Commissioning of components.
• Condition assessment of Bell machines in the field.
• Assist with all account queries

REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Diesel Mechanics.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field as qualified earthmoving mechanic.
• Good communication, Public Relations & report writing skills.
• Must be resourceful & self-motivated.
• Good understanding of hydraulic, electrical & pneumatic circuit diagrams

DUTIES

• Manage Technical staff including Mechanics, Apprentices, Assistants and Administrators
• Planning workshop/ field service jobs / manage and control workshop and field service efficiencies
• Client liaison
• Management of outwork for jobs
• Adhere to all company SHEQ and OHS requirements at the Workshop
• Assist with the submission on all warranty claims, Bell , John Deere , Finlay, Kobelco , JCB and all   other Bell product related claims
• Assist with all queries on warranty jobs
• Manage contractors
• WIP - within acceptable days
• Assist workshop debtor queries
• Manage and control job cards. Including: opening and closing of job cards, customer credit check, parts allocation,
• Customer quotations
• Applicants must have a sound knowledge of: 
• Disciplinary procedure
• Safety regulations, technical requirements
• Environmental regulations
• Industrial relations
• Administration procedures and processes
• Bell warranty procedures and processes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Mechanic with 10 years’ experience
• Previous managerial / supervisory experience in a workshop environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good management, planning & people skills
• Must be Computer Literate on Lotus Notes, CRM, Sales Force, Outlook  
• Must have SAP experience
