    AdministratIve Associate - Level II - Service

    DESCRIPTION

    • We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate to join our team specializing in Services, Maintenance and Diagnostics for our Service Operations Management Department in Kathu, Sishen Mine, South Africa.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

    • Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity:By gathering, verifying, and entering data into reports, presentations, and databases, you'll help maintain high standards of accuracy that support informed decision-making.
    • Streamline Administrative Processes:Your coordination of documents and support for routine tasks will improve workflow efficiency, allowing your team to focus on strategic priorities.
    • Support Informed Decision-Making:Through research and statistical reporting, you'll provide valuable insights that help leaders and departments make data-driven decisions.
    • Enhance Internal and External Communication:By managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and handling inquiries, you'll ensure smooth and professional communication across stakeholders.

    • Strong Technical and Scheduling Skills:You must be able to manage technician schedules, job assignments, preventive maintenance (PM) plans, engine hours, backlog tracking, and leave rosters—ensuring smooth coordination and operational efficiency.
    • Proficiency in Core Software Tools : Competency in Excel(for data tracking and analysis), Word(for documentation and communication), and SAP (for enterprise resource planning and vendor/payment processing) is essential for daily tasks.
    • Data Analytics and Visualization Expertise:You’ll need to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data, apply statistical and problem-solving techniques, and present insights through dashboards and reports that support data-driven decisions.
    • Process Discipline and Customer Coordination:Following the QS process and effectively coordinating with customers for PM planning will ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational consistency.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/ Experience

    • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
    • 1 Year administrative experience
    • Valid driver's license
    • Must pass annual medical (fitness certificate)
    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    • We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Services, Maintenance and Diagnostics for our Service Operations Department in Sishen Mine, Kathu, South Africa.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

    • Deliver Reliable On-Site Repairs:You'll diagnose and complete less complex engine repairs directly at customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational continuity.
    • Enhance Customer Satisfaction:By engaging professionally and courteously, you'll build trust and ensure customers feel heard and supported throughout the service process.
    • Ensure Efficient Service Execution:Your use of specialized tools and adherence to documented procedures will lead to accurate diagnostics and timely repairs, boosting service quality.
    • Maintain Equipment Health:Performing scheduled preventative maintenance will help extend engine life and reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns.
    • Support Team Collaboration:By escalating unresolved issues to senior technicians or supervisors, you'll contribute to a collaborative problem-solving environment and ensure complex issues are resolved effectively.

    • Understanding of Engine System Interactions:You’ll need to analyze how mechanical and electrical systems interact (e.g., exhaust, cooling, fuel, sensors) using service publications and measurement tools to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
    • Commitment to Quality Repairs and Documentation:Performing repairs within standard timeframes, following guidelines, and documenting all steps thoroughly ensures high-quality service, cost-effective maintenance, and seamless communication across teams.
