Job Purpose:

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend applications. Design, code, test and implement configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. Initial focus on reporting services and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Maintain production and internal backend and frontend applications;
•   Ensure .Net technologies are up to date;

Maintain backend and frontend applications:

• Generate updated documentation on existing systems;
• Apply change request on applications;
•  Improve existing systems to adhere to best practice;

Liaise with Business Analysts in scoping and developing projects:

•  Develop applications according to requirements from analysts;
•  Design applications according to requirements;
•  Generate functional and technical specifications for applications;
•  Generate well defined architecture for systems in the design phase;

Lifecycle and procedure:

•   Maintain and enforce development lifecycle;

Leadership:

•   Mentor level I developers in terms of technology, good practice and design.
•    Apply PLOC principles when mentoring and coaching a team.

Job Purpose:

• Collaborative new product research and development to meet business requirements or strategic business goals. Provide technical leadership with implementation of strategic business goals to drive e4 into the future. Requires full technical knowledge of all necessary phases of projects. Design and develop new IT by producing logical and technical specifications from functional specifications and write the code for new (experimental) applications. Carry out systems analyses, design, program debug, system testing, security assessments, performance assessments and user interfaces. Consult with domain architects, other specialist and peers involved in implementation projects. Develop solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity. Research leverage off and integrate into third party systems to create new technology applications aimed at solving a business problem. Innovation and staying ahead of competitor / industry treads - be willing to research, explore and leverage off new technologies.

Minimum requirements:

• Computer sciences related degree/diploma; MCSD or another IT related degree/diploma
• C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, MVC, T-SQL
• 8+ years .Net development experience   

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse, research, design and document the technical requirements of projects / proof of concepts through a technical interpretation of project problem statements and business requirements;
• Realistic scoping, accuracy of planning (how), dependence management, with appropriate milestones;
• Develop or modify software modules / existing technology to meet the requirements as defined by the Business Requirements Specifications and Technical Design Specifications and in accordance to the company's software development standards with little or no supervision;
• Ensure the quality of software by performing tests (manual or unit tests) on the completed modules or projects;
• Identify and ensure software modules or project can be successfully deployed to the UAT and production environment by completing accurate configuration and maintenance/operating documents;
• Mentor and coach level II developers in terms of technology, good practice and design;
• Stay abreast of trends in the Web development landscape; as well as new technologies;
• Manage stakeholders’ expectations throughout;
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and vendors;
• Reflect knowledge of trends and technologies in decision making / problem solving;
• Implement new software and architectures and IT Strategies.

Purpose:

• Design new IT solutions and processes to improve business efficiency and productivity by working closely with IT and executive management in order to align ongoing projects and activities with the strategic business goals and plan of the business unit.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification in IT or Business Analytics;
• 5 years relevant work experience;
• Own reliable transport with a valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with clients to understand their business;
2. Accurately and completely document current state of business processes and work flows;
3. Presentation of technical concepts or solutions to internal and external business as well as customers;
4. Conduct and capture user requirements sessions according to established methodologies (UML etc.);
5. Prepare specifications, project charters, cost estimates, technology research documentation as appropriate;
6. Promote new technologies and solutions to financial institutions;
7. Manage projects through life cycle;
8. Develop business cases to assess process improvement opportunities;
9. Use practical experience and industry best practice knowledge to support BPR strategy, approach, methodologies and tools;
10. Collaborate with subject matter experts and process owners to ensure all design requirements adequately reflect the defined business processes and fully support all components of the functional business requirements;
11. Identify ways to extract useful data from multiple sources and develop methods to analyse the data
12. Ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met.
