    Senior Refrigeration and Commissioning Technician

    • This role involves installation, commissioning, servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding, repair, and optimisation of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on CO₂ (R744) trans‑critical refrigeration technology.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test)
    • SAQCC Gas Registration
    • Valid Code B Driver’s Licence
    • 5–10 years’ experience in commercial and industrial refrigeration
    • Proven track record in commissioning refrigeration systems
    • Practical experience with CO₂ (R744) systems (advantageous)
    • Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
    • Experience commissioning refrigeration controllers and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
    • Ability to interpret piping diagrams, P&IDs, and electrical drawings
    • Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
    • Willingness to travel nationally, work overtime, standby, and attend emergency callouts
    • Clean criminal record and ability to travel internationally (valid passport required)
