    Project Engineer

    In this role you will be responsible to manage and / or perform the design, implementation, and start-up phases of capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, within the defined scope of responsibility or specialisation. Ensure that the objectives of the investment project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards are implemented and adhered to.

    A day in the life of a Project Engineer: 

    Before starting the project design phase:

    • Support the End-to-End Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure that it is strictly followed throughout the project.                                                       

    During project design phase:

    • Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications and the TPM characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability, and reliability). Ensure by design the workers, and operators, safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.                                               

    During the project implementation phase:

    • Ensure that the engineering side of the project is implemented (e.g., buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, the URS, and the characteristics of a unit operation. And that all the elements of the project (including technical people training, as needed) in performed in such a way that safety is always guaranteed on the whole project site and that a vertical start-up is assured. Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities. Ensure that Nestlé standards are applied.                                        

    During the start-up phase of the project:

    • Support the start-up manager and their team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation. Contribute to and support the preparation and distributing the engineering project documentation, including the engineering part of the project final report and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.                                                                                                 

    What will make you successful?

    • Degree/Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, E&A, Process, Industrial engineering, or similar).
    • Manufacturing projects management experience. 
    • 3 years experioence in capital investment projects development & Implementation in Food Industry. 
    • Determination of methods to minimize the likelihood of injuries or damages to people and/or equipment (SH&E).
    • Factory operations experience (as required).

    Sales Capability Manager

    A day in the life of a Sales Capabilities Manager:

    • Review required competencies from the Sales Functional Competency Framework, assess and monitor skills level of members of the Sales function; According to commercial excellence prority, build approach to close competency gaps as needed, through learning solutions but also through experiential learning, on the job observation, coaching, etc.                                            
    • Review existing in market and above market learning solutions, identify and select the most appropriate ones and where relevant adapt them to local market specificities (language, legal context, customer landscape, route to market, etc.).                                                  
    • Applying foundational knowledge of the Sales Function to design curriculum/content (tests, visual aids, etc.), select appropriate delivery mechanisms (i.e., classroom, webcast, e-learning etc.) and conduct training.                                        
    • By exception, may develop specific learning solutions from scratch. In general, the course catalogue should derive fully from existing above market solutions from either the Corporate function, the Zone or the Category.                                
    • Ensure that all aspects of commercial excellence are covered in the learning solutions with a particular focus on accelerating the digital transformation of the Sales function.                                  
    • Deliver internal (or distributor) training courses/programs targeting new hire orientation, product training, sales process and consultative selling, sales effectiveness, presentation skills, phone selling skills, etc.                                         
    • Developing and monitoring metrics for evaluating training effectiveness                                               
    • Responsible for attending ALL Sales related Train The Trainer (TTT) Workshops regionally / zone based and gaining accreditation to roll-out in own market.                

    What will make you successful:

    • 8 - 10 years in Sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs plus training or coaching environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead people
    • Capacity to understand all sales functions i.e. CDT, Customer Management, Field
    • Has experience in leading a team in Sales either across the different functions
    • Has experience in presenting, teaching, coaching and should be a "people" person.
    • Full understanding of Education & Training management or equivalent (i.e. competencybased learning management).
    • Excellent facilitation skills and full understanding of what tools to apply to maximize learning according to content, context, target audience, etc.
    • Proficient in the use of on-line training tools such as Articulate, Video creation, Curriculum building, etc
