    Outside Sales (Business Development Manager) – Logistics

    Job Details

    • Focus on development of new business revenue growth
    • Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients
    • Manage and retain client relationships on all levels and provide a professional service including after- sales service, client enquiries and regular follow ups
    • Exceed sales objective of assigned targets by promoting and selling all services through professional sales targets
    • Ensure consistent achievement of all relevant product or monthly targets
    • Learn new products knowledge and acquire improved selling skills 
    • Ensure effective and ongoing communication between the sales teams and supporting departments within the Company
    • Respond and assist on all sales department queries as communicated by the sales team
    • Ensure effective communication is maintained on all levels

    Candidate Requirements

    • Matric or equivalent Senior certification 
    • BCom Logistics would be preferred 
    • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably from the Logistics  / Courier Industry
    • Proven track record of success

    Vacancy Details

    • Liaise with clients continuously
    • Ensure all continuous follow-up on all aspects of your client’s requirements
    • Responsible for all rates relating to existing clients, including changes

    Senior Entry Clerk - Logistics- Johannesburg

    Job Details

    • Ensure all import documents received for preparing Customs clearance are correct and sufficient
    • Provide advice on tariff headings and duty rates
    • Assist with applications for import permits
    • Monitoring shipments and follow-up
    • Prepare and lodge provisional payments as required
    • Prepare refund applications, submit, monitor to finalization
    • Follow up on shipments on a daily basis, monitor customs stops and detains till finalization
    • Conduct quality control when requested
    • Frame (Air & Sea) entries, ex bond entries, VOC’s and provisional payments
    • Liaise with SARS (Customs) as and when required
    • Attend to client’s Customs technical requirements
    • Provide advise on tariff headings and duty rates
    • Assist with applications for Customs code
    • Provide advise on permit requirements
    • Assist with applications for Import permits
    • Keep the Customs Manager updated at all times and monitor outstanding issues

    Candidate Requirements

    • Matric or equivalent of Senior Certification

    Inventory Controller - Logistics – Johannesburg

    Vacancy Details

    • Assist with counting stock as part of the daily cycle count
    • Submit cycle count report to Supervisor
    • Ensure that stock is in the correct location
    • Check that pallet identification label is then placed on the shrink-wrapped pallet(s) before putting away into bin locations
    •  Ensure that all STO’s are completed in full on instructions from the Team Leader / Supervisor
    • Check that all documentation concerning inventory is returned to the respective departments
    •  Ensure that all communication with the client is clear and concise as per email etiquette policy of World Net Logistics
    • Ensure all the systems are used and maintained in the way that they were intend

    Candidate Requirements

    • Matric or senior certification equivalent
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehousing
    • Proven track record in stock management and cycle count
