    Business Development Manager

    The Role

    We are in search of a seasoned Business Development Manager with Hygiene and Pest Control experience to manage Sales activities in the Western Cape region. 

    We are a leader in the industry thanks in part to our roots in the healthcare sector – a heritage that translates into a service ethos and cleaning standards of the very highest quality. We provide hospital-level cleaning services, no matter the environment. The Business Development Manager’s primary function is to improve the organization’s market position and achieve continuous financial growth. Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds and maintains key customer relationships. Identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals as well as maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Assist in managing existing clients and ensure they remain satisfied.

    Duties & Responsibilities 

    The Business Development Manager - Hygiene and Pest Control will report to the National Sales Manager - Hygiene and Pest Control and will be actively be involved in the following activities in the Western Cape region:

    • New Business Development
    • Client Retention through presentation of new products and services to enhance existing client relationships
    • Ensure highest possible customer service standards are maintained always by working with technical staff and other internal colleagues 
    • Business Development Planning for the allocated region in relation to the National Sales strategy • Management of research and reporting for Regional activities on the company's CRM and sales management tools
    • Identify opportunities that will lead to increase in sales
    • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills • Comply with company policies and procedures

    Skills and Competencies

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position or industry within Hygiene and Pest Control 
    • Traceable sales target achievements 
    • Sound knowledge of the cleaning industry preferable 
    • Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
    • Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Should ideally be able to demonstrate success and experience in dealing with large companies and achieving genuine sales growth
    • Ideal background would be in business support services; experience of contract cleaning industries would be an advantage
    • Experience of tenders is imperative 
    • Experience using a Sales CRM preferably Salesforce

    National Sales Manager

    The Role

    We are in search of a seasoned National Sales Manager with Hygiene and Pest Control experience to be based in our head offices in Johannesburg. If you are a sales entrepreneur who is able to coordinate the sales activities within Tsebo Hygiene and Pest control Solutions and with demonstrated experience in achieving continuous aggressive sales growth in this field we would like to engage with you.

     In addition to the growth, you as the National Sales Manager will be responsible for the account management team, ensuring all client accounts are managed and maintained effectively and proactively, as well as the achievement of monthly targets and building new client relationships. You will focus on developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans and enforcing a culture of high performance. Successful execution of these strategies will be required to achieve the financial targets. A thorough understanding of Hygiene and Pest Control Solutions and customer trends will be required as well as the business of Tsebo Solutions as a Group will be essential in order to be successful in this position.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Achieving revenue targets for the Tsebo Hygiene and Pest Control solutions and aligning key performance indicators of the Sales team.
    •  Enhancing and managing the current sales strategy via the Hygiene and Pest Control team.
    • Building and maintaining relationship with customers by managing customer data, post-sale follow up, capture customer feedbacks and inquiries as well as manage customer support
    • Sales team Management of Business Development Managers within the Regions across South Africa to ensure best practice in sales techniques and initiatives to position the Hygiene and Pest Control as a reputable solutions provider
    • Business Development Planning in relation to the National Sales strategy • Working closely with the national accounts team in order to secure large accounts as part of Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions and or as part of Tsebo Solutions Group 
    • Building and maintaining relationship with customers by managing customer data, post-sale follow up, capture customer feedback and inquiries
    • Management of research and reporting for National activities on the company's CRM and sales management tools
    • Financial management to ensure budget accountability, cashflow management against projections and debtors management
    • Comply with company policies and procedures

    Skills and Competencies

    • Minimum 10 years’ Sales managerial experience in within Hygiene and Pest Control
    • Traceable sales target achievements 
    • Sound knowledge of the cleaning industry preferable 
    • Proven track record of experience with clients, sales (performance to budget and target incl profitability and growth) and sales team leadership/management
    • Engaging and working with executive and management teams across multiple entities and geographies

    Qualifications

    • Matric 
    • Tertiary qualification (Preferably in Sales and Marketing )
