    JOB PURPOSE

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • Preventive maintenance, basic repairs and minor overhauls to plant production and building equipment to ensure efficient operation of that equipment and production of a quality product. Perform all work in compliance with established safety, GMP, TPM and UMS standards.
    • Respond to breakdowns and other issues brought to the attention of Maintenance (by supervision, operators or other personnel) as needed during operations, in a way that minimizes operational delays.
    • Line changeovers, making all appropriate adjustments for efficient operation.
    • Troubleshoot, fine tune or adjust equipment to insure proper operation.
    • Routine visual inspection and/or testing of equipment and structures to identify and report any need for scheduled repairs.
    • Lubrication of all plant equipment, repair, change and/or adjust product seals, gaskets, shafts, blades, O-rings, packing material (mechanical parts).
    • Minor electrical work.
    • Interpret and work from schematics.
    • Installation and alignment of machinery and equipment.
    • Preventive maintenance and repairs on utility services including but not limited to plumbing, air, vacuum systems, filters and HVAC.
    • Participate in continuous improvement activities (for example TPM or similar activity).
    • Follow established department and plant procedures, including (but not limited to) those related to preventive maintenance systems, obtaining parts, and taking corrective action when hazardous or potential loss conditions are found.
    • Keeps tools, equipment and work area safe, clean and orderly. At all times work safely around equipment, tools and co-workers.
    • Other duties as requested by supervision work with and assist other craftsmen and operations personnel as needed.

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • N3 Certificate with 5 years’ experience or N2 Certificate with over 8 years' experience AND a valid Trade Test Certificate.
    • Must have a minimal of 5 years FMCG exposure in chemical manufacturing process and packing.
    • 2- 3 years’ experience in a day shift artisan role, mechanical or electrical.
    • Ability to perform all duties associated with position, with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to perform work safely and maintain work areas in a manner that does not present a hazard to self, co-workers or products.
    • Ability to recognize conditions that would have a negative impact on production or other facility operations and take appropriate follow-up action.
    • Ability to work from drawings and sketches, repair and operating manuals, and written and oral instructions.
    • Must provide tools meeting minimum requirements (as determined by supervisor) and maintain tools in a safe condition.
    • Must be able to climb ladders, work safely at heights or in confined spaces, physically handle lifting of 25kg, and perform work in temperature extremes and wet conditions.
    • Experience in general plant mechanical diagnostics, repair and maintenance, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.

    Net Revenue Management Analyst

    JOB PURPOSE

    • Net Revenue Management is one of the fastest growing capabilities in the FMCG Industry. Understanding Revenue Growth and how it impacts market share & profitability is a key unlock to growing competitively & consistently. The NRM Analyst will enjoy a dynamic and fast paced work environment with exposure to and involved in delivering insights across all 5 Revenue Growth Levers. The Levers of Revenue Management include: Brand Portfolio Pricing, Pack Price Architecture, Mix Management, Promotion Management, Trade Spend Translation. We are looking for an ambitious, curious and self-motivated individual to join the team, to assist in the delivery of data analytics & insights generation within the Revenue Management sphere.  

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    • ​​This role is responsible for collaborating with the Category Cross Functional Business Teams to deliver actionable recommendations through data-driven insights, scenario planning, stakeholder engagements & workshops. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop skills in business acumen; insights creation & strategy development and will be responsible for capability building to integrate & scale new ways of working, tools & methodologies.
    • Co-ordinate, collaborate & support delivery of Net Revenue Management, by managing the capability building, analytics & key milestones.
    • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that will be a key growth driver for the category, with clear actions and KPI’s, measured & tracked via P&L & market share.
    • Strategically influence and bring thought leadership in Net Revenue Management i.e. develop and evolve existing tools to improve their performance, &/or pilot and roll-out new tools where required.
    • Support the creation of customer selling stories that positions Unilever as an expert in this space & drive actions that grow both Unilever & Customer businesses

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • ​​ Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Information, or Finance.
    • 3-4 years working experience within FMCG (analytical experience is a bonus). 

    Skills

    • Working knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI (or proven track record of being able to upskill in new software independently).
    • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
    • Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner and clearly articulate impact to business, i.e. join-the-dots between data analytics & creating simple & actionable insights.
    • Able to interact and work well in a team to collaborate & co-create opportunities; ability to work cross-functionally and lead from within role.

    SC Cost Management Accountant

    JOB PURPOSE

    • This role will manage all aspects of the P&L and Balance sheet within Supply Chain undertaking activities such as inventory reporting and stock controls, management of production cost in category P&L, CAPEX management, audit and controls and support Site teams on cost management. This role is required to maintain strong accounting controls aligned with the Global Financial Controls Framework (GFCF) and support the factory to deliver results aligned with pre-set targets linked to the Supply Chain KPIs. The role is also required to support the factories with financial insights to deliver key projects and business cases throughout the year, drive a cost competitive Supply Chain organisation through Sourcing Unit cost optimisation, driving the agenda on Cost per Ton downwards (Net Productivity), manage Production Budgets (factories and 3P manufacturing sites) and ensure controls on stock movements, build and manage relationships with third parties on site and driving down waste at the factory and 3P sites.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    Ensure robust governance and control systems are maintained and adhered to

    • Ensure adequate controls and financial hygiene of all areas at Factory.
    • Ensure integrity of balance sheet and income statement with appropriate levels of checks and balances.
    • Drive delivery of timely and accurate reporting requirements
    • Ensure Unilever Standard Chart of Accounts compliance
    • Ensure stock controls compliant with SOX
    • Ensure journals, write offs and provisions are done in accordance with Schedule of Authority.
    • Ensure that operational controls are working at a factory regarding the processing of credit notes.

    Drive a cost competitive Supply Chain organisation through Sourcing Unit cost optimization

    • Drive delivery of controllable costs by reducing the Cost Per Ton (Net Productivity)
    • Deliver the business waste reduction programme for factory and its 3P
    • Review, challenge and monitor all Capital Expenditure proposals (CEP) per the annual budget.
    • Drive Ops to deliver the R/ton expectations at factory and the savings on Production Indirects.
    • Participate in transformation project squads/ teams

    Manage Production budgets and stock flows and balances.

    • Annual budgets to be done in accordance with global product costing guidelines for Unilever factories.
    • Update correctly the master data information for products sourced from 3P/ Collaborative
    • Variance analysis of budget/forecast over and under spends done monthly.
    • Ensure SAP stock errors are understood and corrected.
    • Drive cost reductions in order to meet R/ton targets.
    • Drive stock days on hand down through analysis and reporting.
    • Manage stock in various locations on site and off site at third parties.
    • Provide financial business cases for different options of sourcing.
    • Co-ordinate and support the periodic forecast timetable for the supply chain team

    Steer Business Performance and provide Decision support

    • Provide accurate and relevant business insights by analysing available information using designated best practice tools.
    • Drive and Coordinate the forecasting process to help the business make reliable decisions, includes budget, financial forecasts, etc
    • Guide and support the delivery of key projects in the pipeline, whilst actively ensuring that all appropriate government incentives are maximised on.
    • Report on monthly variances giving key insight in what areas need focus and where factory performance was not great.
    • Consolidate and report total supply chain saving initiatives on monthly basis both on an actuals and forecasting basis. Ensure savings governance across all projects.

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Factory Finance required
    • Financial Acct qualification (CIMA or good progress toward CIMA or a CA is advantageous).
    • Strong analytical capabilities with bias to drive action
    • Ability to manage upwards
    • Ability to steer conversations and influence
    • Understanding or ability to quickly grasp financial principles in the end-to-end Supply Chain, identify and drive relevant value-creating choices and decisions
    • Ability to handle and work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
