    Data Capturer/Driver (Pretoria)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Attached to capture, record and report on all data collected from TB screening in communities and facilities.
    • Generates daily, weekly and monthly reporting of data for reporting
    • Collect and verify data monthly and quarterly to ensure data quality and conduct data clean-up as required.
    • Provide system generated data and compile reports on successes and challenges to the facility, sub-district/district monthly and quarterly
    • Filing and administrative duties and perform any ad-hoc duties as required.
    • Set up and prepare for daily activities.
    • Prepare the vehicle for community outreach and maintain an accurate vehicle log.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 
    • Valid South African code 10 driver’s license plus PDP

    Experience

    • At least two (2) years’ experience in data capturing and reporting.
    • Minimum two years of experience working as a driver.
    • Previous work experience in NGO environment will be advantageous.
    • Experience in recording and reporting of TB and HIV data
    • Knowledge of capturing data in any health M&E systems (TIER.net. and/or DHIS) will be advantageous

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages
    • Effective data management skills
    • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Valid South African code 10 driver’s license plus PDP
    • Ensure compliance with all local driving laws and regulations.
    • Willing to travel and work after hours

    Project Manager II: (Primary Health Care) - Klerksdorp

    Technical Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following commitments.

    Monitoring Sites:

    • Ensure documenting, reporting, supervision and supporting of Staff assigned to the project site

    Experience

    Enrolled Nurse Assistant (Sarah Baartman)

    Technical Work Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective evidence based clinical procedures to achieve identified health outcomes
    • Daily linkage with DOH health facilities to identify patients that need to be followed up or contacts to be screened for TB/HIV.
    • Coordinate the collection and transportation of specimens during community screening.
    • Linkage with Community Liaison Officer (CLO)/Community Health Worker (CHW) to arrange outreach activities in the community.
    • Collaborate with community-based organizations and DOH clinics to facilitate patient linkage into care.
    • Track linkage targets, prepare and submit monthly reports.
    • Input accurate and complete data for all contacts with clients into the project database.
    • Provide all required documentation in a timely manner, which may include client follow-up, outcome evaluation, client contact sheets, evaluations, and HR related documentation.
    • Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships as requested.
    • To implement quality improvement processes throughout the conduct of the project.
    • Ensure regular and clear communication with the team.
    • Adherence to reporting and communication lines regarding various problems.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
    • Adhere to the relevant procedures with regards to participant confidentiality.

    Requirements

    Education

    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council as Enrolled Nurse/Assistant
    • Formal qualification as Enrolled Nurse/Assistant accredited by SANC

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years’ related experience in TB, HIV, STI, Chronic diseases of lifestyle
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in community health work
    • Extensive counselling experience and client care

    Advantageous

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HIV/AIDS and TB related accountabilities
