Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our fleet of side tippers.
• Schedule and dispatch side tippers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor the performance of side tippers and subcontractors.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Prepare reports and presentations.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the side tipper industry
• Proven track record of success in managing subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

Operations

• Coordinate site induction and send daily truck delivery schedule list to all sites.
• Confirm stock availability at each site and communicate with the transport team on  delivery schedules.
• Assist in problem solving day to day operational issues across the supply chain and escalate  to the relevant individuals when necessary. 

Reporting and Administration 

• Capturing proof of delivery notes for road freight and reconciling the tons moved against transporter and mine invoices.
• Ensure that all loads dispatched at the mine are offloaded at relevant locations and any deviations to be taken up with transporters/mine.
• Compile reports to track supplier performance as per their contractual obligation.

Financial

• Ensure supplier compliance as agreed with all suppliers and transporters  check quantity, quality and costs charged is correct before sending invoices for payment  for transporters and suppliers.
• Tracking credit availability for all coal suppliers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree (Supply Chain, Business Admin, Finance) or relevant BCom Degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Supply Chain Operations and Finance.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.)
• Knowledge and understanding of basic mathematics
