WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Learning Programs (IST,PWD, Interns,Apps & UL)
- Coordinate onboarding of new learners
- Uploading of documentation to support DG grants
- Learner SETA enrollment and registration
- Follow up with People Partner on IT tools where applicable (Eg interns) and ordering of PPE ahead of start date.
- Day to day follow up on the execution of training programmes within required time frame.
- Follow up with service providers on issuing of certificates once programmes are completed.
CHIETA DG & MG application and inflow tracking & Workplace approval
- Do the application for DG grants and guide the learners through the completion of documentation.
- Point of contact between SETA and ALM for administration of Workplace Approval application.
- Maintain a tracker for the inflow of DG grants for the ALM.
Administration of site capability programmes
- Ensure documentation such as training registers are completed and uploaded to LMS for all training.
- Reporting of training progress against plan.
- Issue of logbooks and POE’s to learners.
- Source quotations for training requirements and work with service providers on scheduling training.
Legal compliance and Auditing
- Compile and submit mandatory training report for monthly CSHEC meeting.
- Quarterly review with Unit Manager & site SHE lead to ensure trained personnel across all mandatory SHEQ compliance trainings.
Budgeting and Cost Governance
- Creating and tracking of all training related orders as per training plan and budget.
- Compile Monthly training spend tracking per order created.
- Submit all accruals to finance for oustanding GRN post cut off.
- Support the annual budget process by completing a training needs analysis for compliance training for all relevant departments to determine costs for SHEQ trainings.
- Obtain quotes for any new ad hoc training requirements.
WSP & ATR submission
- Capture and compiling of Bio data and Annual Training Report
Support Factory Digital agenda
- Maintain learning systems and coordination of training for new users.
- Pulling of dashboard reporting for capability programmes.
BBBEE Compliance and Audits
- Monthly capturing of training spend and uploading on SC Learning share point.
- Quarterly inter site internal auditing for BBBEE data.
- Compile all evidence for the external BBBEE audit and submit relevant documentation.
- Scanning and filing of training registers to be shared during site audits and possible disciplinary enquiries.
Service agreements with Training Providers
- Storing of updated contracts with training providers and timely tracking of contracts for renewal.
- Storage and tracking of Service Provider accreditation renewal requirements.
Training & Development Committee
- Schedule meetings every 2 months and capture and circulate minutes from the meetings.
- Storage of minutes to the sharepoint / Teams site.
Tax – IT180 Submission
- Compiling of all IT180 forms for all learning programmes and upload to sharepoint for the site.
Training centre
- Manage the booking system and administrative requirements for running the training centre.
Annual Induction and BI training Coordination
- Coordinate Annual Induction Programme for site (scheduling a date, planning meetings, organizing venues and trainers
Experiences & Qualifications
- HR Diploma or Degree / ENG Degree / Diploma/ NQF 6 Certificate
- Must have 2 experience in a FMCG environment
- Assessor, Facilitator, Moderator OR SDF Certification is an added advantage

- Co-ordinates, prioritises and allocates work of artisans/resources for maintenance of plant equipment in order to ensure safe and optimum machine availability, within area of responsibility.
- Make recommendations for improvements within specific area of responsibility.
- Ensures availability and effective utilisation of machines, advises on improvements to equipment
- In conjunction with Production Operations Manager, plans and controls all scheduled and planned maintenance.
- Ensures the spares required for maintenance are available and are according to quality specifications
- Ensures breakdowns are handled effectively and promptly.
- Implements Effective Maintenance practices in area of responsibility.
- Be able to take responsibility for, and support, team decisions
- Controls and executes work against budget and authorises spending within authority limits
- Keeping updated documentation of checksheets, maintenance tasks, job codes, overtime etc.
- Champions TPM (5S in the workshop, Effective Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance)
SHE
- Enforces compliance with SHE, Food Safety rules and regulations.
- Ensures that Company safety rules standards and regulations are adhered to within the sphere of his responsibility.
Supervisory
- Responsible for management and development of artisans, and technical learnerships in area.
- Coach, mentor and motivate team, conducts performance appraisals.
- Prepares shift roster as applicable
- Co-Ordinates activities of contractors on site.
- Carries out any performance problems and disciplinary procedures as necessary according to policy.
Projects
- Manage all aspects of small CAPEX Projects
- Project Team member for larger CAPEX and Innovation projects (provides input with regards to technical specifications and assists with project implementation)" "• Knowledge of OSH Act, SHE policies, HR policies

Experiences & Qualifications
- BSc/Btech in Mechanical/Chemical or Industrial Engineering Management Trainee
- 6 yrs minimum of post qualification experience in manufacturing and production environment
