    Accounts Payable Administrator - JHB

    Core Purpose of the Job:

    Processing, reconciliation, and payment of assigned creditors in accordance with their terms and conditions and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Ensure all supplier invoices are reviewed for compliance and authorisation and are processed accurately and timeously
    • Ensure all supplier invoices are processed in accordance with statutory and company requirements
    • Prepare supplier reconciliations for all accounts and ensure reconciling items are cleared within 30 days
    • Prepare COD payments reviewing compliance and authorisation and ensuring that payment is effected timeously
    • Process all office rental/accommodation invoices and ensure payment is effected by the 1st of every month
    • Maintain an accurate and up to date rental/lease register and file
    • Follow up on expired lease agreements to ensure that they are either renewed or that the deposits are recovered
    • Maintain the relationship with branch administrators to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
    • Prepare payment registers and urgent payment requests generated for Inland suppliers to ensure payments are timeous and accurate
    • Send all supplier payment remittance advises to branch administrators and suppliers
    • Ensure that supplier recon/invoices and remittances are filed accordingly in alphabetical order
    • Review supplier and employee ageing, ensuring that no invoices or expense claims age past 30 days
    • Attend to all queries related to Inland accounts payable, ensuring that the turnaround time is minimal
    • Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by immediate supervisor or management
    • Ensure BBBEE certificates for suppliers are up to date.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • A valid matric certificate

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a creditors environment
    • Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, BST, VAT

    Electrical Engineer- Principal (Mpumalanga)

    Core Purpose:

    KGA is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer-Principal with extensive Multidisciplinary project Engineering experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals sector to provide support to our client in the development and execution of Capital projects. The Electrical Engineer will be primarily responsible for the electrical engineering scope of design, planning and coordination and integration within a multi-discipline engineering team for the execution and delivery of electrical engineering deliverables. These deliverables must meet the accepted quality and execution requirements of the client and in accordance with Petrochemical standards and specifications within the approved budget and schedule. The electrical engineer is also accountable for Risk management and planning electrical scope for all phases of the project.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bulk of experience must be in delivery of Capital projects in the Petro-Chemical environment.
    • Interfacing and/or electrical engineering working experience with Sasol as an added advantage
    • Understand all aspects of projects and be able to coordinate and maximize efficiency
    • Thorough management knowledge, organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
    • Responsible for Electrical engineering design process, planning coordination and integration with other disciplines including deliverables review.
    • The ability to work with multiple projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices

    Qualifications:

    • B.Sc. Eng/ B.Eng/ B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Professional Engineering Registration with ECSA 

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years engineering experience in the delivery of Capital Projects in a Petrochemical environment.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience gained in an Engineering Contractor’s design environment working in a multidisciplinary engineering project team.
    • Thorough knowledge of Petrochemical engineering design codes (and software), policies, standards and best practices
    • Working experience with Sasol Secunda and/or Sasolburg
    • Working knowledge of Project Stage Gates and its requirements

    Design Engineer (Civil) - JHB

    Core Purpose:

    The Civil Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing construction projects, such as buildings, civil and electrical infrastructure, bridges, and other structures. They work closely with architects, project managers and contractors to ensure that construction projects are designed according to specifications and that they meet safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Developing construction project specifications and designs based on customer requirements and design standards.
    • Collaborating with architects, contractors and other construction professionals to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
    • Using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create and refine construction project designs. Creating 3D models and animations using CAD and BIM software.
    • Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the viability of new designs and construction techniques.
    • Developing and maintaining project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
    • Ensuring that construction projects meet regulatory requirements and adhere to safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
    • Collaborating with project managers and contractors to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and making recommendations to senior management.
    • Conducting regular project team meetings and providing guidance and support to team members.
    • Ensuring that all project stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and any changes to the project plan.

    Job Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • B.Eng or BTech degree
    • ECSA Pr.Eng or PrTechEng

    Experience:

    • At least 10 years’ experience.
    • Strong technical background in engineering.
    • Excellent design skills.
    • Proficient in using ACAD and Civil 3D software and other engineering tools.
    • Knowledge of construction processes and standards, as well as experience with project management.

    Draughts Person: Civil - JHB

    Core Purpose:

    • The primary responsibility of a Civil draughts person is to create technical drawings and plans that are used for the construction or manufacturing of products or structures.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Creating detailed technical drawings, such as plans, elevations, and sections, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
    • Interpreting engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to create accurate drawings.
    • Reviewing and revising drawings and plans based on feedback from project teams, engineers, or architects.
    • Collaborating with project teams, engineers, or architects to ensure that technical drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
    • Creating and maintaining drawing libraries and databases, ensuring that all drawings are properly filed and organized.

    • Preparing bill of quantities and material lists for construction or manufacturing projects.
    • Participating in design review meetings and providing technical support and guidance to project teams.

    • Complete geotechnical drawings such as Boreholes, Test pits, Importing/ Exporting data from (Google Earth Pro) and creating geophysical profiles.

    Job Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant degree or certificate in drafting.

    Experience:

    • At least 5 years’ experience as a draughts person.
    • Experienced in drafting standards, as well as familiarity with engineering and architectural drawings and specifications.
    • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools including ACAD, Civil 3d and Revit is required.
