    Supervisor Operations - Wessels Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As a supervisor operations, you will be responsible for supervising the safe and efficient execution of Mining Operations.
     
    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Supervision of people reporting directly to you in a production section, inclusive of time management of employees and discipline in the workplace;
    •  Achieve monthly targets;
    •  Initiate and integrate production planning sessions with other mine departments;
    •  Manage feedback and execution of abovementioned planning to ensure production of quality ore at determined volumes;
    •  Develop and implement continuous improvement techniques to enhance production functionality. 

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in trackless mining or underground mining;
    •  At least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity;
    •  Drill & Blast and Development experience is advantageous; 

    Qualifications for this role are:

    •  Grade 12 with mathematics;
    •  Supervisor Certificate of Competency;
    •  Valid underground blasting certificate for Metalliferous Mines;
    •  Valid driver’s license

    Boilermaker - Mamatwan Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As a boilermaker, you will be responsible to safely develop, cut, fabricate/assemble, weld and maintain metal components and structures at the ROM and Ore Preparation plants.
     
    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Develop and fabricate from complex drawings; Mark off basic regular engineering shapes;
    •  Cut drill and punch, assemble and mechanically join structural steel work;
    •  Cut materials using the oxy-fuel gas cutting process (manual cutting);
    •  Cut materials using hand tools (cold chisel and tin snips); Grind steel by means of pedestal / bench grinding machines and perform general grinding operations;
    •  Assemble and mechanically join sheet, plate, tube, pipe and steel sections;
    •  Form and shape sheet metal using hand or power operated machines;
    •  Weld mild steel by means of Oxy-acetylene equipment;
    •  Weld work pieces in the stainless-steel material group, using the gas metal arc welding process in all positions;
    •  Remove material with the shields metal arc gouging process;
    •  Remove fabricated equipment by means of cutting or gouging;
    •  Install fabricated equipment in the plant/mine by means of welding;
    •  Repair equipment and components in the plant/mine. 

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Qualified Boilermaker in a mining environment; 

    Qualifications for this role are:

    •  N2 Technical Certificate for external candidates and N3 Technical Certificate for internal candidates

    Fitter - Mamatwan Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:
     
    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As a Fitter, you will be responsible for timely installation, repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure that mining activities are executed in a safe manner as well as operate equipment and tests all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilization.

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Complete hard copies of Job Cards and capture Job Cards on SAP;
    •  Provide input into maintenance Task Lists; Report deviations observed during inspections to ensure proper planning prior to execution
    •   Interprets and coordinates pre-work about repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
    •  Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance on machines or equipment;
    •  Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
    •  Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
    •  Ensures the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment;
    •  Coordinates activities associated with trouble- shooting and repairing maintenance equipment. 

    ABOUT YOU:
     
    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Fitter in a mining environment;
    •  In depth knowledge on inspection & repairs of pumps;
    •  In depth knowledge of the workings of Jaw and Cone Crushers;
    •  Experience in working on conveyor belts;
    •  In depth knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems.

    Qualifications for this role are:

    •  N2 Technical Certificate for internal candidates or N3 Technical Certificate for external candidates;
    •  Fitter Trade;
    •  Valid driver's license.

    Diesel Mechanic - Mamatwan Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for timely installation, repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure that mining activities are executed in a safe manner as well as operate equipment and tests all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilization.
     
    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, interpretation of hydraulic diagrams, planned and predictive maintenance;
    •  Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance on machines or equipment;
    •  Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
    •  Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
    •  Ensures the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment;
    •  Coordinates activities associated with trouble-shooting and repairing maintenance equipment. 

    ABOUT YOU:
     
    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a qualified artisan in a mining environment;
    •  Experience in performing major rebuilds and or components rebuild will be advantageous;
    •  SAP & CAT ET, SIS software knowledge will be advantageous.

    Specialist Draughtsman Electrical - Hotazel

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As a specialist draughtsman electricial, you will be responsible to develop and maintain HMM electrical, control and instrumentation blueprint.

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Carries out design and generates project technical drawings for all projects as per request;
    •  Ensure that drawings are distributed to relevant stakeholders:
    •  Manage the accurate storage and retrieval of all relevant data, such as blueprint drawings and all relevant supporting documentation;
    •  Ensure that data is correctly and accurately processed into a single graphic repository of information and backup of information;
    •  Use MicroStation/AutoCAD to create and modify, electrical, control, and instrumentation systems in various mining commercial buildings;
    •  Produce updated blueprint drawings and diagrams as per legislation.

    ABOUT YOU:
    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 5 years within the mining environment withing Engineering/Maintenance;
    •  Advanced user of MicroStation and AutoCAD;
    •  Technical knowledge to assist artisans and engineers with draughting and review technically sound diagrams that will be used in the mining industry and usage of electricity of the electrically-operated equipment such as industrial machinery.

    •  Grade 12 and a N4 technical certificate together with an electrical draughtsman certificate

    Auto Electrician - Mamatwan Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for timely installation, repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure that mining activities are executed in a safe manner as well as operate equipment and tests all working parts in functional area to ensure proper utilization.

    •  Workshop exposure which includes rebuilding of machines, wiring systems, fault finding and repairs to electrical circuits

    Superintendent Production Plant Processing and Logistics - Wessels Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:
    This role is a permanent full-time position.
    As a superintendent production plant processing and logistics, you will be responsible for managing the production process related to plants and logistics, while maintaining safety standards at Surface Plants and Load Out Station.

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Leads, coaches and mentors team members to ensure safe delivery against performance targets.
    •  Monitors expectations, understanding and application of Production Execution processes within the team to support compliance with legislative requirements.
    •  Contributes to the preparation of the inputs to inform the safety and production budget.
    •  Coordinates and guides Supervisors in the execution of the week 0 schedule;

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Mining or Processing Environment;
    •  At least 2 years at least in a supervisory capacity;
    •  Knowledge working on SAP and MS Office Suite

    •  Degree or BTECH in Mining or Metallurgy or Chemical engineering.

    Specialist Reliability TMM - Mamatwan Mine

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This role is a permanent full-time position.

    As a Specialist Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for continually improving the Asset Value Optimisation processes within an Operation area / defined set of physical assets.

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    •  Review and improve total cost of ownership models in order to identify low reliability, high maintainability assets / components / tasks, initiate improvement projects where required;
    •  Review failure data, conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and system-wide analysis to enhance operations reliability;
    •  Review spare parts criticality analysis and kitting of store spare parts;
    •  Responsible for the development and maintenance of all asset care plans, corrective task lists and work instructions for existing and new assets and assets systems;
    •  Facilitate root cause analysis on asset failures to eliminate defects. 

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    •  Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance or asset management experience of which at least 2 years as a Reliability Engineer;
    •  Experience in Reliability principles and calculations;
    •  Experience in RCM/ACPD process (including FMEA);
    •  Asset performance calculations experience;
    •  Experience in Trackless Mobile Machinery in an open cast mine. 

    Qualifications for this role are:

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science and Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
