    Invoicing Clerk (Longmeadow)

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

    • The Invoice Clerk is responsible for accurately processing, reviewing, and maintaining invoices related to retail operations. This role ensures timely billing, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies while supporting accounting and store operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process and verify vendor and customer invoices for accuracy and completeness
    • Match invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes, and receipts
    • Enter invoice data into accounting or retail management systems
    • Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments
    • Ensure timely payment processing and follow up on outstanding invoices
    • Maintain organized and accurate invoice records (digital and physical)
    • Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting as needed
    • Support audits by providing invoice documentation when requested
    • Comply with company policies, accounting standards, and retail procedures

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting coursework is a plus
    • Previous experience in invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, or retail accounting preferred
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
    • Good organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Strong communication skills for dealing with vendors and internal teams

    Working Conditions

    • Office or back-office retail environment
    • May require occasional extended hours during month-end or peak retail periods

    Preferred Skills (Optional)

    • Experience with POS or retail inventory systems
    • Familiarity with retail pricing, discounts, and tax calculations
    • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

    Junior Technician (Longmeadow)

    Purpose

    • Responsible for repairing and testing of products. Performing fault-finding on equipment. Ensure repairs are completed within specified timeframe ensuring excellent customer service.

    Electrical Technician Responsibilities:

    • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.

    Troubleshooting, repairing malfunctioning equipment: -

    • Electronics, Inverters, UPS
    • AVR’s
    • Report writing skills.
    • Handling customer technical enquiries.
    • Troubleshooting and repairs on customer products
    • Running back orders and ensuring repairs are conducted within specified turnaround time as per repair policy
    • Consistently perform in a manner that ensures deadlines are met for all repairs performed
    • Stock control within the workshop
    • Using hand tools and measuring equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeter etc.
    • Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
    • Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.

    Requirements

    Electrical Technician Requirements:

    • 2 years Electronics/Electrical repair workshop experience
    • N2 Electrical qualification preferred
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent planning and organising skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to function independently and work well within a team

    Key Accounts Associate (Solar Specialist) (Pietermaritzburg)

    What we are looking for:

    • We are looking for an experienced, go-getter & passionate Key Accounts Associate (Solar Specialist) to maintain and develop business orientated relationships with existing and new clients.

    What the role is about:

    • Getting the sale using various sales methods;
    • Forecasting sales;
    • Developing “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluating their effectiveness;
    • Evaluating clients’ skills, needs and building productive long-lasting relationships;
    • Maintain accurate and complete client account information.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generating new leads, developing existing client base and foster relationships between ACDC and clientele.
    • Handling of client enquiries.
    • Meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
    • Understanding of the marketplace relative to product offering and client base demographics.
    • Searching for and capitalizing on new product opportunities positioning and branding for the respective product range in client stores.
    • Assist in the development of product launch programs, formulation of client days and product awareness campaigns within the client portfolio.
    • Training clients on products (as and when required).
    • Executing sales strategies.
    • When required, giving sales presentations to various levels of audiences.
    • Managing employer’s expectations, client relationships and providing these with excellent service and support.
    • Providing feedback regarding suggestions for improvement and market research.
    • Ability to deal with and respond to high volumes of emails.
    • Quotation formulation and follow ups.
    • Attending Sales Meetings and providing the necessary information/statistics etc.
    • Planning as well as submission of weekly calls and reporting on weekly activities.
    • Client account maintenance.
    • Analyzing the current marketplace and ensuring feedback is given regarding important market and competitive information.
    • Attending of ad hoc training sessions.

    Requirements

    • Experience/knowledge in Sales Environment (Preferable: Electrical Manufacturing)
    • 3 - 5 Years in same/similar role.
    • Electrical or similar Technical Qualification (Advantageous).
    • Aptitude to absorb Product Knowledge (Technical).
    • Proven Marketing and Sales competencies + ability to analyze market and formulate new strategies.
    • Ability to establish and foster new business relationships and provide training to clients.
