    Registered Nurse –NNICU Department.

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • B. Cur / Diploma in General Nursing.
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment advantageous.
    • NALS / PALS / BLS qualifications.
    • ACLS / ATLS advantageous.
    • Post graduate diploma in Neonatal Nursing Science.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
    • Supervise, organise, lead and control quality of care work for self and team adhering to therapeutic standards and goals.
    • Actively participate in internal and external auditing processes, for example DOH, National Core Standards, SHERQ, SANC and Risk Audits.
    • Document and maintain accurate files and records of patient medication and conduct ward rounds including accompanying Doctors and other Medical Practitioners for creating and evaluating customized care plans including implementing.
    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security, safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds.

    Registered Nurse-AICU

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Nursing degree / diploma.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • Qualification in Adult ICU unit is essential.
    • BLS qualification and updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS.

    • BLS qualification.

    HR Officer

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management.
    • 3 - 4 years human resource generalist experience.
    • Knowledge of relevant Labour Relations legislation.
    • Knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act.

    Minimum work experience:

    • Develops and delivers employee onboarding programmes in collaboration with HODs.
    • Interprets and helps in the application of HR policies to Head Office employees with queries and concerns.
    • Coordinates and supports the execution of recruitment and selection at Head Office.
    • Collects and compiles data on employee relations matters to support the Group ER Specialist.

    Pastor

    Job Summary:

    • To provide pastoral care to patients, their family members and hospital employees including offering spiritual support, grief and trauma counselling and crisis intervention 24 hours a day.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Theological qualification.
    • Ordained Minister.
    • Special training involving spiritual needs in clinical and hospital environments is advantageous.
    • Experience in grief and trauma counselling are advantageous.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Providing counseling services to patients and their family members, to visitors and affected employees.
    • Officiate, where necessary, at memorial services for employees.
    • Conduct worship services for patients and hospital employees.
    • Chair the external Pastor forum every 2 months, where applicable.
    • Conduct counselling sessions at the hospital as per the hours agreed with the Hospital Manager.
    • Promote the hospital facilities and services at public gatherings (or functions) in order to encourage greater utilization of the hospital and its services to the community.
