To provide pastoral care to patients, their family members and hospital employees including offering spiritual support, grief and trauma counselling and crisis intervention 24 hours a day.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Theological qualification.
Ordained Minister.
Special training involving spiritual needs in clinical and hospital environments is advantageous.
Experience in grief and trauma counselling are advantageous.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Providing counseling services to patients and their family members, to visitors and affected employees.
Officiate, where necessary, at memorial services for employees.
Conduct worship services for patients and hospital employees.
Chair the external Pastor forum every 2 months, where applicable.
Conduct counselling sessions at the hospital as per the hours agreed with the Hospital Manager.
Promote the hospital facilities and services at public gatherings (or functions) in order to encourage greater utilization of the hospital and its services to the community.
