• The ideal candidate will convert showroom visitors into sales through product demonstrations, meeting sales targets, and handling order captures and documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need to do this role

• Grade 12/Matric (Minimum Required)
• 1 years’ minimum experience in retail
• Must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Working in the homewares retail industry would be advantageous

Description

• We are seeking a motivated and dynamic team player to join the Digital Marketing team as Digital Marketing Specialist.
• You’re results oriented, have a solid understanding of digital media channels, thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment where collaboration and teamwork is paramount.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, credibility, customer acquisition, and sales growth across all our retail channels.
• You will liaise with our digital media agency and direct digital marketing partners, from strategic channel selection to campaign optimization and reporting.

What you will love doing in this role

Planning and Strategy

• Develop and implement a digital media campaigns aligned with overall marketing objectives and business goals.
• Effectively manage digital media campaigns across the affiliate, paid and email channels
• Planning and execution of content types aligned with achieving marketing objectives (eg) Digital Catalogues
• Collaborate with Marketing Planners ensuring paid media content aligns with their objectives
• Conduct frequent market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new advertising opportunities.
• Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Analytics teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and optimization.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest paid media trends, technologies, and platforms

3rd Party Collaboration

• Management of external 3rd party suppliers ensuring they are executing against the broader marketing objective and business goals
• Develop strong relationships with external account managers from Meta and Google
• Identification of 3rd party suppliers who can further help drive the effectiveness of the digital media campaigns
• Working with Legal and Procurement in the onboarding of respective 3rd parties into the business
• Ensure contracts are aligned with the best interests of the business and that they are reviewed annually

Reporting and Optimization

• Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement
• Generate detailed reports highlighting campaign performance metrics, return on ad spend (ROAS), and customer acquisition costs
• Work with the data and insights team to better understand the data and create dashboards to assist with the ongoing management of them

Requirements

What you’ll need to do this role

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar
• 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a track record of developing and implementing successful campaigns across multiple channels.
• Strong understanding of paid media platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads etc. and programmatic advertising platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, analyze performance metrics, and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and strategies to internal stakeholders of varying levels of management
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to paid media marketing
• Retail and/or Financial Services experience advantageous
