    Credit Risk Control Officer

    Job Purpose

    • We are looking for a Credit Risk Officer to provide client service by applying sound credit risk management principles in our early collections space through management of a dedicated portfolio/region thereby enabling Nedbank to reduce the Private Wealth impairment charge in line with the business strategy.

    Key Deliverables

    • Daily contact with clients and bankers to remediate portfolio across all client portfolio of accounts.
    • Implementing the collections strategies by effectively communicating with clients/bankers and negotiate repayment plans across all client portfolio of accounts and escalating to legal when necessary.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage default accounts timeously by obtaining acceptable repayment arrangements or handover portfolio to Legal collections.
    • Ensure clean audit in area of responsibility by enforcing adherence to bank policies, process and procedures and industry regulations.
    • Implement sound credit risk management by providing advice on specialized credit risk matters to CRM’s and Credit managers
    • Ensure efficient work ethic and achievement of business unit strategies & goals by proposing innovative ideas to enhance Business processes that facilitate customer experience.
    • Provide feedback daily/weekly/ monthly
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships by attending regular staff meetings and team building sessions.
    • Build strong relationships with CRM’s and Credit manager’s by providing upskilling advice on credit processes, policies, and documentation.
    • Sharing knowledge with all stakeholders.
    • Manage own efficiency by drafting and implementing team's strategies.
    • Enhance processes by constantly seeking innovative improvements to the credit systems.
    • Adapt to changes in Legislation by enforcing the compliance to the changes.
    • Address issues raised in culture surveys by participating in the development and implementation of action plans.
    • Create a client service culture through various required interventions.
    • Support and encourage staff to participate and support corporate responsibility initiative.
    • Achieve operational excellence by supporting the implementation of business optimisation improvement through team engagement.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

    Preferred Qualification

    • Successfully completed NQF Level 6 or Higher in a Finance or Credit-related field

    Minimum Experience Level

    • Minimum 1 years' experience in a Credit role in a Banking environment 
    • Minimum 2 years' experience collecting Arrears or Excess accounts.

    Client Services Consultant

    We are looking for a dynamic and well-spoken Client Service Consultant to join the team in Cape Town. The core purpose of this role is to build engagement, trust and long-lasting relationships with investors and financial planners through the delivery of exceptional service experiences. 

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide client services to investors via various communication channels.
    • Providing technical support in terms of Collective Investment Schemes and retirement products.
    • Adhere to the daily schedule to ensure that targets are met by following the work plan.
    • Follow Nedbank processes and values such as honesty; integrity; accountability; respect and pushing beyond boundaries when answering calls and when dealing with internal and external relations.
    • Escalate all unresolved queries to management by logging the case on the system.
    • Answer 90% of all calls within 60 seconds (90/60) as per Service level Agreements (SLA) Generate lead targets required on a month to month basis by offering products to the clients.
    • Prevent losses that may occur in the business by being vigilant and making sure all calls are logged correctly.

    Enterprise Architect II

    Job Purpose
