    Senior Payroll Administrator

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal standards
    • Accurate Payroll data capturing and filing on payroll system & SARS e-filing
    • Accurate and timeous uploading of pay files to standard bank CATS
    • Accurate and timeous uploading of 3rd party files to standard bank CATS
    • Extraction of data and accurate running of Sage payroll reports
    • Accurate monthly Salary reconciliations
    • Accurate annual Salary audit reconciliations
    • Conduct monthly and annual salary reconciliations and ensure readiness for audits
    • Posting of Journals to the General Ledger
    • Accurate employees take-on of new staff, loading of all payroll information and HR details
    • Provide assistance to Group Payroll & Rewards Manager & HR Manager
    • Accurate and timeous monthly statutory reporting & submissions
    • Complete and submit monthly, annual, and bi-annual statutory reports, including SARS reconciliations and IRP5 submissions
    • Address and resolve any payroll-related queries promptly and accurately

    Educational Requirements

    • Relevant financial, payroll or HR qualification

    Experience Requirements

    • Proven experience in full-function payroll administration, including benefits and HR-related processes
    • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with payroll systems (Sage and or Payspace), showcasing deep operational knowledge and advanced usage capabilities
    • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, statutory regulations, and reporting requirements

    Senior Human Resources Business Partner

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implementing HR strategies in line with our business goals and translating them into plans.
    • Designing, implementing, communicating and monitoring HR processes.
    • Ensuring that an effective HR service is delivered by reviewing processes and practices.
    • Implementing performance culture interventions.
    • Assisting the Management with succession planning.
    • Implementing our learning and development strategy.
    • Managing recruitment and selection processes.
    • Managing relationships with recruitment agencies.
    • Overseeing day-to-day remuneration issues.
    • Monitoring and providing advice as required to line managers during the annual salary review process.
    • Monitoring retention through the effective use of exit interviews and other employee surveys.
    • Managing and facilitating employee relations issues.
    • Ensuring we are complying with the requirements of the Skills Development Act.
    • Ensuring compliance with employment equity.
    • Implementing and assisting with onboarding.
    • Implementing and supporting wellness initiatives.

    • Providing accurate and timeous HR information and reports as required.

    Educational Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification

    Experience Requirements

    • At least 10 years’ generalist HR experience in the print media industry.

    Assistant Mill Operator

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • To change doctor blades
    • To change reel spool shaft, reel change -over and wrapping of jumbo reels
    • To assist with feeding paper from yankee to pope reel after paper breaks
    • To identify causes of paper breaks
    • To check chemical stock levels and dosage rates.
    • Felt and forming fabric changes
    • To assist with housekeeping in the paper mill
    • To comply with health and safety standards related to papermaking

    Educational Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • N3 (Pulp & Paper) preferable

    Experience Requirements

    • 1– 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
    • Previous experience as an Assistant Mill Operator advantageous

    Lubricator

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain standards of Lubrication
    • Staying on top of plant equipment to limit (repetitive) equipment failures.
    • Give advice on improvements to lubrication requirements.
    • Improvements in lubrication and access to lubrication points
    • To ensure that all systems are lubricated according to manufactures/company, specifications.
    • Evaluation of systems performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities
    • Adherence to the OHSA
    • Wear PPE at all the times when at the plant

    Educational Requirements

    • Grade 12

    Experience Requirements

    • 1– 2 years’ experience as a Lubricator
    • A good understanding of engineering principles
