    Technical Team Lead - Western Cape

    Day to day responsibilities will include:

    • Support and enhancement of an established, multi-faceted technology platform, and associated 3rd party integrations.
    • Coordinate with Technical Product Manager, Solutions Architects, other teams and QA to deliver on business requirements
    • Develop and document design, source code and technical architecture
    • Provide work estimates based on analyzed business and technical requirements.
    • Taking responsibility for ensuring changes are: 
    •  unit and integration tested
    •  documented
    •  optimized to ensure benchmarks are met.
    • Assisting in out of hours’ production releases when required, as well as out-of-hours support when necessary.
    • Lead, support and mentor team members in the team.

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in software development
    • Experience in leading and guiding developers.

    Analysis and Design:

    • Sound knowledge of OO design principles and patterns.
    • Understanding of ORM frameworks (.NET Entity Framework).
    • Understanding of Microservices, REST and MVC driven web frameworks.

    Skills 

    •    Strong C# .NET Core skills  
    •    Experience in RESTful web services
    •    Experience with Relational DBMS, MSSQL.
    •    Experience with microservices architecture and design
    •    Versed in DevOps methodology including setting up CI/CD pipelines
    •    Ability to communicate about technology in non-technical terms to colleagues and       Clients.
    •    Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure.
    •    Good leadership skills

    • On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS

    Senior Financial Manager (Treasury, Procurement & Tax) - Western Cape

    Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •  Oversee Expense Creditors with a particular focus on Operational Expenses.
    •  Direct the company's Procurement and Treasury functions, implementing and refining controls to optimize and secure these cycles.
    •  Maintain meticulous oversight and control over the balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate reflection of the company's financial position.
    •  Collaborate with departmental heads to monitor and control costs, driving financial efficiency across the company.
    •  Report and provide strategic financial recommendations to the Group Financial Manager.
    •  Supervise the Financial Controller for balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial standards.
    •  Supervise the Financial Controller for Treasury and Procurement, driving improvements and ensuring optimal financial practices.
    •  Supervise the Financial Controller for Expense Creditors, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial practices.
    •  Monthly tax calculation and posting of tax journals.
    •  Quarterly tax reporting to holding company.
    •  Perform Monthly VAT reconciliations for Group companies.
    •  Complete and Submit VAT submissions for Group companies.
    •  Prepare and submit income tax returns (normal and provisional tax) for group companies.
    •  Update Transfer Pricing Calculations
    •  Provide input on VAT and tax implications of products being developed

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    •  5+ years of financial management experience
    •  Previous experience managing financial teams or projects.
    •  Proficiency in strategic financial planning

    QA Analyst - Western Cape

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •  Test planning and design of test scenarios
    •  Test case preparation and maintenance, reviews, execution
    •  Logging and tracking of defects through to completion
    •  Test reporting throughout test environments
    •  Testing for production support
    •  Provide regular feedback to team member, developers and stakeholders
    •  Attend daily stand-ups and provide testing progress
    •  Ability to work some evenings for live deployments (2 - 3 night per month)
    •  Mentor and guide other QA

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    •  2+ years’ experience in a testing or similar role
    •  Manual testing
    •  Understanding of the SDLC and how QA fits into the process
    •  Experience in using industry standard test management tools (e.g. JIRA / Zephyr, Confluence, DevOps)
    •  API or Mobile device testing experience
    •  Knowledge of IT and basic SQL skills
    •  Has knowledge of QA and bug testing tools and testing methodologies
    •  Working knowledge of test management software
    •  Basic test case scripting
    •  Has basic understanding of test automation frameworks and tests
    •  Basic knowledge of SQL at query and data analysis level 

    ADVANTAGEOUS:

    •  Mobile testing experience 
    •  Automation testing 
    •  ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Qualification or relevant experience 
    •  2+ years’ experience in a testing or similar role
    •  Manual testing
