Experience and Qualifications:

• Matric as a minimum
• Exposure to at least 1 programming language 
• Advanced knowledge of data processing platforms used [SAS, SPSS, Dimensions]
• Advanced knowledge of data files types [ASCII, SAV, SAS, CSV]
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office 
• Excellent understanding of DP processes and documents

Key Performance Areas:

• Editing and creating computer programs and scripts 
• Investigating and solving data related queries independently
• Handling complex projects from technical and project management perspective
• Reviewing / auditing projects programs / folders for standards adherence, completeness and accuracy
• Expand own understanding of data processing through channels, such as on-the-job exposure, reading and discussions with peers

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Secure the accuracy of all information in Job book in order to drive all financial reviews, forecasts and investment decisions
• Drive and advise the research teams and SL leaders to create accurate information that reflects the business reality,
• "Own” the P&L lines from AOT & revenue down to gross margin,
• Challenge and drive the job costing process to ensure optimal resource allocation,
• Report all major operational KPIs to the business on a timely and reliable basis,
• Own training to Symphony users on job book use and MIS compliance to meet global targets,
• Own the jobs Balance sheet accounts and validate monthly,
• Plan for projects funding with the CFO and credit control team.
• Manage billing and Accounts Receivable
• Assist with the external audit process from audit planning to financial statements sign-off, including review of financial statements for compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Policies
• Assisting with tax where required.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Graduate in Finance or Accounting
• Qualified Accountant; conversant with financial reporting standards
• At least 3 years of successful experience in multinational environment
• Strong experience with financial systems, detail oriented on reporting skills
• Language: Fluent in English
