    Operations Manager - Letsitele

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    •  Grade 12
    • Diploma or degree in agriculture
    • Minimum of 5years experience in the production of subtropical fruit & citrus
    • Good Knowledge of the establishment, care and cultivation of subtropical fruit & citrus Excellent planning & organisational skills
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to work confidently in a group
    • Strong problem – solving skills
    • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Computer literate.
    • Driver’s License

     DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    •  Overall responsibility for implementation of production strategy of the company through the development of applicable systems and use of existing knowledge and technology.
    • Direct, coordinate and manage of production related activities in close collaboration with management.
    • Monitoring the production process to ensure quality products, operational management of the farm, maintenance, new development, nutrition, pest, disease and water management.
    • Long-term planning to support the company’s goals
    • Assessing and analysing departmental budgets to find ways to optimize profitability
    • Identifying potential problems, points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue
    • Develop and implement operating methods and procedures for the production section.
    • Ensure compliance procedures are followed according to accreditation and management systems to ensure produce can be exported.
    • Managing production cost effectively by sound budgeting and strict cost control measures
    • Ensure implementation and adherence to occupational health and safety guidelines.
    • Participate in the preparation and control of annual production budgets
    • Ensure all administrative functions are done accurately and on time

    Animal Nutrition Sales Representative - FM002017

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    •  Relevant qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field (e.g., B.Com/B.Sc). Proven experience in sales, particularly in animal nutrition or related agricultural sectors. Strong knowledge of pastures on dairy farms is essential.
    • Existing network of contacts in the agricultural sector is advantageous.

     SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

    •  Strong knowledge of animal nutrition products, with a willingness to expand into pasture sales. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    Client Engagement 

    • Manage the full 360° sales process, from identifying client needs to closing sales and providing post-sale support.
    • Maintain and grow an existing client base while building new relationships with potential customers.
    • Conduct field visits and build trust with clients by understanding their specific agricultural challenges.

    New Business Development 

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring the expansion of the company’s presence in the region.
    • Develop strategic plans to grow market share and meet sales targets. Product Expertise and Market Support
    • Provide expert advice on animal nutrition products, with a commitment to learning and progressing into pasture products.
    • Leverage your knowledge of pastures on dairy farms to provide specialized solutions and recommendations for clients.
    • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs to maintain a competitive edge.

    Territory Management

    • Organize sales activities to align with seasonal demands and customer segmentation.
    • Ensure comprehensive coverage of the area, traveling extensively between Knysna and Swellendam to meet with clients.

    Reporting and Administration 

    • Accurately report client interactions and sales activities using the company’s CRM tools.
    • Assist with stock management and forecasting to meet customer demand effectively.

    Food Safety Officer - FM002019

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

    • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
    • Diploma or degree in Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Food Safety Officer in a Food manufacturing / Agri or similar environment.
    • Knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to Food manufacturing.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to influence positive change.
    • Proficient in safety auditing and risk assessment methodologies.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Conduct regular Food safety audits and risk assessments of the manufacturing processes.
    • Implement and maintain Food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and company and international standards. – FSSC/ GLOBAL GAP/ HACCP
    • Monitor daily Quality Control and Food safety operations to identify potential hazards and enforce safety protocols.
    • Investigate customer complaints and rejections of products and prepare detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
    • Provide Food safety training and coaching to employees, creating awareness of health and safety best practices.
    • Develop and promote initiatives that enhance the organization’s Food safety culture.

    Electrician – Eskom Lines

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric
    • Electrical Trade Test Qualification
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience within the field ·
    • Driver’s License ·
    • Product a Knowledge (Auto Electrical products) advantageous
    • Previous working experience with Eskom Lines essential·
    • Knowledge of earth moving equipment advantageous
