    BI Developer - 24 Months Contract

    Strategic Function

    • Contributes to the strategy, vision, and governance of the BI and Data Analytics capability.
    • Drive best practices, iterative improvement, and innovation at the strategic deployment level.
    • Provide strategic support and identify opportunities in existing business processes for building reports and dashboards.
    • Function as an integrator between the business and technology to create business solutions.
    • Support the implementation of the centre Balance Score Card (BSC) project and initiatives.
    • Support define and manage best practices for our Data Warehouse. This may include payload design of source data, logical data modeling, implementation, metadata, and testing standards.

    Product Management

    Formal Education

    • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Stack, Power BI, and data warehousing technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are desirable.

    Experience/ Requirements

    • Minimum 8 years of proven work experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist or similar role, with a focus on the Microsoft Stack, expertise in data warehousing, data lake technologies, and Power BI development.
    • Experience in working with/in SQL Server, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.

    Strategic Function

    Core orientation:

    Leads the design and development of functional strategies.

    • As may be required, design and or review the Centre of Excellence operating model and value chain to align with the People strategy.

    • Manages relationships with Learning service vendors, Industry Bodies, e.g. SAICA, SAIGA, ACCA, Fasset etc, and any providers relevant to an outsourced element of the Experiences value chain and ensure service levels and agreements are in place and met.
    • Collaborates with internal People portfolio stakeholders, People Business Partners, and line function department heads to understand their service needs and priorities.
    • Proactively addresses concerns and maintains strong relationships with service recipients.
    • Manages service level agreements and client satisfaction with internal stakeholders.

    • Strategically manages and monitors the day-to-day operations of Learning Experiences BU.
    • Identifies and develops the skills and capabilities of BU staff to ensure they meet the evolving demands of the organization and the People function.
    • Fosters a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and customer-centric service.

    Digital Literacy and Digital Agility

    • Utilizes HR technology and systems to automate and streamline People processes, including internal survey tools, talent and online recruitment software, and self-service tools relevant to the BU value chain. Stays up to date with technological advancements to improve service delivery.
    • Creates a technology roadmap that outlines the organization's plan for implementing or upgrading learning technologies, including the Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other tools.
    • Ensures that the AGSA complies with data security and privacy regulations, and maintain documentation to demonstrate compliance.
    • Facilitates the periodic review of the BU operating model to identify the impacts and opportunities for digital transformation interventions.
    • Draws insights from data and trends to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment across the business and diagnose people issues and recommend effective solutions.
    • Leverages technology to increase efficiency and drive business results to improve the digital employee experience, which leads to increased engagement and communication.
    • Assesses, selects, and implements HR technology solutions to streamline People processes and improve relevant data management.

    Financial Management

    • Demonstrates an understanding of the financial and commercial sustainability variables that impact the AGSA.
    • Develops budget proposals that detail the allocation of resources for different training initiatives, technology investments, and content development.
    • Compiles the budgets and contributes to the development of the BU’s and Portfolio budget.
    • Manages, monitors, and reports on the budget through expenditure, forecasts, and other analysis.

    Skills, Experience & Education 

    Formal Education

    • This position requires a minimum qualification of a CA (SA).
    • Added advantage: Masters level qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent. Senior professional registration with a recognised Human Resources professional body.

    Experience

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources Management of which a minimum of 5 years should have been in a senior management role with exposure to training and development, talent management, and other functions of the HR value chain.
    • Added advantage: Experience working within the Financial Services or Professional Services sector (consulting) as a Training and Development Specialist would be advantageous.

    Junior .Net Developer

    Strategic Function

    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of customized business applications to support the AGSA's business operations.

    Product Management

    Provides support in Solution Design:

    • Assist in formulation and defining of application scope and objectives
    • Assist in preparing detailed technical specifications for applications to be developed

    Develop Business Applications:

    Assistant Manager- Infrastructure - Limpopo

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Audit Process

    Planning

    • Advise audit teams on technical matters related to the infrastructure sector
    • Assist audit teams in identifying audit risks for the specific audit engagement in the built environment
    • Assist the manager in resource planning for selected audits in the built environment/ infrastructure field
    • Liaise with the manager and assist in compiling a budget for the audit and communicate this to audit team for selected audits in the infrastructure field
    • Assist the manager to facilitate engagement meetings (entrance engagement) with management of auditees to discuss the scope, focus areas, objectives, methodology and due dates and
    • Support the audit team to ensure that they receive the relevant documents to execute the audit.

    Execution

    • In collaboration with the audit team, execute, technical audit procedures on selected audits in the infrastructure field
    • Consistently update the manager on the status of the selected audits in the infrastructure field
    • Complete audit working papers on selected audits in the infrastructure field for review by the manager
    • Provide coaching notes on reviewed working papers for selected audits in the infrastructure field
    • Attend steering committee meetings (at least two per audit; first and final steering committee meetings) with departments and related senior management

    • Professional registration with a Professional Body as required in the built environment will be advantageous e.g. ECSA, SACQSP, SACPCMP etc.

    Experience

    • At least 3 years’ industry specific experience in the infrastructure/ built environment.
    • Experience in construction of buildings such as schools, clinic, hospitals, office buildings, etc. is essential
    • Experience in infrastructure projects e.g. roads and storm water, sewer reticulation, water reticulation, social infrastructure (housing, health and education facilities) and bulk earthworks for municipal, provincial or national projects will be advantageous
    • Experience in implementation of bulk services &/or internal reticulation
