    Project Coordinator - Kempton Park

    Job Specification:

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Liaise with suppliers concerning the design and manufacture of equipment
    • Installation of Capital Projects.
    • Ensure project installations meet the proposed requirements and standards for National Brands Limited.
    • Management of Contractors and internal resources.
    • Project progress reporting.
    • Co-ordinate the activities associated with the management of SHE in the department.
    • Assist in the preparation of capital vote applications.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:                                                                   

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience, preferably in FMCG

    Qualifications:

    • Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade with a minimum of N4

    Additional Requirements:

    • Willingness to work overtime
    • Strong technical attributes in Mechanical and Electrical Fitting.
    • Equipment installation experience.
    • MS Office, MS Projects, and AutoCAD will be an advantage.

    Production Manager - Kempton Park

    Key Responsibilities:

    People Management:

    • Implement systems to track and improve KPIs.
    • Lead and develop production shift leaders and team members.
    • Foster high employee engagement, morale, and development.
    • Ensure labor usage is cost-effective, and recruit top talent for growth.
    • Manage performance, provide mentorship, and enforce fair labor practices.

    Production Management:

    • Oversee all production activities, including line start-ups, shut-downs, maintenance, and changeovers.
    • Ensure line performance meets targets for safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance.
    • Resolve issues with production flow and collaborate with support teams to maintain optimal efficiency.

    Material Usage & Cost Control:

    • Conduct monthly material usage variance analysis to manage costs effectively.
    • Investigate discrepancies between actual and standard material usage.

    Systems & Standards Management:

    • Implement and maintain systems to measure and improve operational performance.
    • Ensure all operating standards are adhered to, including food safety and SHEQ compliance.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience:

    • Proven track record in leadership within a production environment (5+ years).
    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles, WCM, and TPM.
    • Strong knowledge of financial processes, supply chain, and holistic business views.
    • Experience in processing plants, Spray Drying, Evaporating, or High-Speed Packaging Machinery would be advantageous.

    Qualifications:

    • Supervisory, Food Safety, or Production Management Certifications.
    • Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Chemical Engineering preferred.

    Additional Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP HR Module, and Management Information Systems.
    • Knowledge of FSSC and OHS Act compliance.
