    Assistant Silo Manager - Clocolan

    Main purpose of the position:

    To support the Silo Manager in the effective management of the Silo to ensure optimal profitability.

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Grade 12;
    • 4 years Grain/Silo experience;
    • Fumigation certificate;
    • Grain grading certificates completed;
    • Previous experience is the supervision and/or management of staff;
    • Experience in the management of budgets and costs;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Computer literate;
    • Strong administrative skills and organisation ability;
    • Strong leadership skills;
    • Sound knowledge of the market and business environment;
    • Business insight.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage Silo according to Budget;
    • Management of Staff;
    • Management of Customer Service;
    • Ensure sound financial management and practices within the division;
    • Manage Silo administrative functions;

    Supervisor - Ficksburg

    Core purpose of the post:

    Overseeing the process of providing complete account statements to clients, filing invoices for archiving and dealing with all inquiries from clients.

    • Grade 12 ;
    • 1 – 2 years administrative experience.

    Skills:

    • Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Numerical skills;
    • Accurate;
    • Stress management;
    • Hardworking;
    • Good organization and delegation ability;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Punctuality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receiving mail from branches and distributing it;
    • Oversee the correct and accurate filing of black invoices and processing;
    • Check completeness of invoices received and request outstanding invoices;
    • Receive monthly statements and check for completeness;
    • Ensure that monthly statements are correctly and accurately processed and sent;
    • Handle enquiries;
    • Keeping up with administration;
    • Effective budget management.
