    Supply Planner - Bellville

    Job Purpose

    Coordinate with demand planning team and manufacturing sites/3rd party suppliers and commercial team to optimize inventory and stock supply security. Manage and coordinate the supply plan commitments, determining priorities and implementing strategies to reduce out-of-stock and over-stock issues. Manage, analyse, and coordinate the supply planning portfolios for Cipla Africa based manufacturing sites and own, manage and lead the demand fulfilment and customer service for 3rd party suppliers.

    Accountabilities

    • Support, analyse and reporting for Supply S&OP Process
    • Lead and manage relevant sales and operations execution meetings with suppliers
    • Assess stock prioritization, pull forward and deferral request based on demand movements in conjunction with demand planner to maintain optimum stock levels.
    • Manage, analyse and propose stock to norm (STN) requirements for all SKU’s. Ensure stock holding conforms with inventory policy and targets and investigate deviations for
    • corrective actions. Alternatively provide scenarios for decision making on proposed stock holding.
    • Identify and review items with excess inventory and propose action plan.
    • Manage short dated stock and drive demand shaping with Marketing, mitigation planning with Commercial team.
    • Minimise write off costs on slow moving stock by proposing change in stock policy or demand shaping actions to reduce write off.
    • Preparation of supply planning related reports for monthly supplier engagement meetings,
    • Supply S&OP meetings and compiling of presentation decks
    • Providing commentary monthly on excess and shortfall stock as well as key drivers to inventory forward.
    • Support Section 21 supply process
    • Liaise with Cipla India for SA Market supply commitment visibility
    • Manage 3rd Party QA on post importation testing (PIT) (where applicable)
    • Provide replenishment requirement views for maintaining STN
    • Provide front end feedback to the supply sites on latest demand movements
    • Coordinate discussions with demand planners on the opportunities and risks regarding demand and supply.
    •  Provide input to supply points in developing inventory strategies on existing, new and phased-out products
    •  Track stock supply point delivery vs actual, conduct required follow up to ensure service delivery
    • Support API/RM/PM availability for finished good products where needed.
    • Project Manage and drive resolution of product robustness products with various business units.
    • Support annual planning processes with analytics and data provision
    • Support the planning team on any reporting requirements

    Education Qualification

    Relevant Graduate Bachelors University degree in Supply Chain Management (BComm), Logistics (BComm) or Engineering (BIng)

    Relevant Work Experience

    • 3+ years experience in supply planning, supply chain analytics, industrial engineering
    • Exposure to supply chain and S&OP is advantageous
    • Experience in Demand Planning including replenishment forecasting is a plus
    •  Previous exposure on working with statistical forecast is a plus
    • Previous experience in data analytics/science is a plus
    • CPF or CPIM an advantage
    • Experience in the FMCG/Pharmaceutical industries is advantageous
    • Knowledge of exports/imports is advantageous
    • Good working knowledge with ERP systems (SAP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and BI Platforms

    Inbound Manager - Parklands

    Job Purpose

    The inbound manager monitors & tracks receipt, storage and issue of materials and products; plans & maintains warehouse, investigates issues related to delivery/ rejections/ etc. ensures preparedness of facility for audits; and co-ordinates materials movements within internal & external stakeholders.

    Oversee the end-to-end process for receiving supplier stock as well as store reverse IBTs. Proactively managing non-conformance and non-balancing deliveries in receiving. Proactively manage stock density and health within the warehouse by reallocating stock for efficiencies. Identifying and recommending necessary infrastructure changes to improve performance and scalability in receiving. Ensure timeous execution of inter-warehouse IBTs to avoid delay in orders fulfilment and manage the stock-flow across both warehouses. Organically grow the capability of receiving and operations in line with the business growth and strategic vision. Proactively identify opportunities to de-risk receiving and warehouse density

    Oversees operational adherence to forecasting schedules, customer specifications, quality, and safety standards to minimize disruptions and maximize throughput while effectively guiding the warehouse teams folding into them.

    Accountabilities

    • Manage the Warehouse teams in respect of infrastructure, systems, reporting and analytics platforms to ensure efficiencies and optimisation for effective service delivery
    • System and Quality Management
    • Manage and implement robust processes for Inventory/stock levels efficiently to ensure full warehouse optimization and accurate processing of orders.

    Education Qualification

    • Bachelors/BTec in Commerce / Supply chain / Industrial Engineering
    • Good analytical working experience or subjects related to the Degree

    Relevant Work Experience

    • 2+ years of leadership experience in comprehensive supply chain management environment
    • Minimum working experience of two (2) years pharma or food industry experience preferred
    • A sound knowledge of relevant quality working standards & safe working procedures as well as the requirements of the Health and Safety legislation (OHS Act/ ISO standards), also including GWP and / or cGMP, GDP and safe work practices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including excel), SAP, warehouse management systems, and database systems.
    • Proven Experience in a leadership role with oversight of multiple supervisors
