    Videographer/ Photographer - Umhlanga

    The Core Function:

    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute creative photography and videography projects from start to finish.
    • Capture high-quality images and video footage that align with the company's brand and objectives.
    • Edit and enhance photographs and videos using industry-standard software tools.
    • Create animations and motion graphics to enhance multimedia content.
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop visual assets for various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in photography, videography, and animation.
    • Manage and maintain photography and videography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

    Requirements

    Are you this person?

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in photography, videography, and animation.
    • Proficiency in industry-standard photography and videography equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
    • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of photography, videography, and animation work.
    • Excellent creative vision and attention to detail. · Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Taking the lead

    • Lead, manage and be responsible for the design and multimedia team.
    • Attract top talent and retain the best creative staff.
    • Be involved in performance management, discipline and career growth/planning of the design and multimedia team.
    • Work closely with your team to generate and build great solutions. Nurture, inspire and motivate!
    • Build a strong collaborative relationship with the broader team, business units and clients.

    The creative side

    • Conceptualize creative ideas.
    • Be responsible for effective creative output of all communication campaigns.
    • Develop and execute outstanding integrated communication campaigns.
    • Drive creative excellence, proactivity and innovative thinking.
    • Be an expert in content optimization and brand consistency.
    • Maintain brand CI and DNA standards across all brands and media.

    Junior BI Developer - Umhlanga

    Key responsibilities :

     Business Intelligence Solutions Development

    • Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions.
    • Translating business needs into technical specifications.
    • Using warehouse data to generate reports to support business decision-making and business performance monitoring.
    • Reviewing, evaluating, and improving existing BI systems.

    Quality Assurance and Documentation

    • Generating and delivering quality reports to customers and performing quality assurance checks on reports.
    • Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.
    • Ensuring solutions are released properly and each release is documented.

    User Experience Enhancement

    • Participating in user research and usability testing to help improve the user experience.
    • Maintaining business intelligence models and dashboards to design, develop, and generate both standard and ad-hoc reports.

    Report Management and Stakeholder Communication

    • Managing new report generation and report enhancement based on change requests.
    • Generating reports for internal and external customers for business performance monitoring and business decision making.
    • Determining business intelligence and data warehousing solutions to meet business needs.
    • Ensuring the generation and delivery of quality reports to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Communicating with non-technical business users to determine specific business requirements for reports and BI solutions.

    Data Governance and Analytics Implementation

    • Assisting in implementing business analytics practices that drive improved decision making, efficiency, and performance.
    • Enforcing standards and procedures for the capture, storage, and retrieval of data, including data governance across all systems.

    Requirements

    Knowledge, skills and attributes:

    • Background in data warehouse design and data mining
    • Proven understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OPAL) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
    • Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative.
    • Proven understand and working knowledge of BI technologies.
    • Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques
    • Proven ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists.
    • Understanding of current data protection and privacy laws
    • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and build sound working relationship.

    Education and training:

    • Diploma in computer science, engineering or relevant field
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field advantageous
    • Relevant certification

    Experience:

    • At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or BI Developer
    • Experience with data warehouse design.
    • Experience working with data collection tools and software in a Human Resources environment.
    • Experience producing excel-based reporting.
    • Strong experience working in an analytics capacity
