    Section Manager Planning, D4, KPS013/24GS

    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Oversee and manage the Mine Planning section on the operation
    • Ensure legal requirements, group standards and policies and codes of practices are implemented and adhered to
    • Develop and manage the Mine planning section's Financial Budget
    • Effective People management, ensuring that Mine planning roles are well defined and clarified and that competencies and learning paths are developed to human capacity and capability
    • Assist with annual Life of Mine Planning and Budget Planning, integration of planning and scheduling with operations and optimisation of Reserves and reconciliations
    • Provide Technical expertise to production teams and production meetings
    • Application of Best Practices
    • Assess Risks and develop appropriate remedial actions for the Life of Mine Plan
    • Ensure that costs allocated for project mine planning tasks within specified operation are controlled within the prescribed budget  

    Requirements:

    • B Eng. / BSc / BTech in Mining Engineering
    • Mine Managers Certificate of Competency (MMC)
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience with 2 years appointed Mine Overseer in Production and 2 years appointed Mining Activity Engineer
    • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Operational value chain in Opencast / Underground Operations
    • An in-depth knowledge of legislation relating to the mining industry. E.g., Mine, Health and Safety Act, MPRDA, Environmental Legislation, etc
    • Solid knowledge of relevant Mine Planning software
    • A good knowledge of Mining, Value Based Management and Asset Optimisation
    • High level of computer literacy
    • Valid driver’s license
    • In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
    • Advantageous:
    • Relevant mining related tertiary qualification (e.g., Masters Mineral Economics, Masters Mineral Resources, etc)
    • Advanced written report skills
    • Registration with relevant mining industry professional association

    Business Improvement Specialist, D1, KHT063/23GS

    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Implement the Business Improvement mandate at operation by facilitating initiatives/business case development and tracking BI improvement
    • Ensure conformance to governance and project sign-off by identifying project risks and effective management and tracking of projects and value delivery
    • Develop and implement communication and change strategy per initiative through facilitating BI communication at the operation and ensuring buy in and commitment on initiatives
    • Contribute to the Operational Team cohesion and effectiveness

    Requirements:

    • Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field (NQF Level 7)

    • Minimum of 3 years Business Improvement experience or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience

    Land Securement Administrator - Cape Town

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Management of all landowner information.
    • Manage landowner documentation. This includes title deeds, resolutions, leases, servitudes, power of attorney documentation and other consents.
    • Liaise with Landowners / Project contracts to ensure up to date information management.
    • Access, update and manage the land management system/s.
    • Implement effective solutions for the management of documents, either hard and/or soft copy
    • Assist the Land Acquisition and Permitting team with permitting and other types of approvals, as may be required.
    • Management of document provision to relevant Internal and External entities

    Stakeholder Management & Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with land acquisition and Development team.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as Local and District Municipalities, Governmental Departments and contracted consultants.
    • Ensure document management and submissions are complete and accurate.

    Reporting and Communication:

    • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports.
    • Be able to quickly supply landowner information as required
    • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding application status and areas of concern.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

    Process Adherence and Best Practices:

    • Apply Seriti Green systems and processes to project development tasks.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in document control.

    Team Collaboration and Training:

    • Assist the Development Director, Land Acquisition and Project Managers in ensuring forms and documents are managed, easy to locate and up to date.
    • Mentor and guide team members, providing necessary training and support on current and new systems.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Office Administration qualification/ Document management OR related field
    • Proven 5+ years administration experience in the Renewable Energy Industry or large infrastructure projects.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing large amounts of data and documentation.
    • Good understanding of property management and/or rezoning requirements and/or contract management.
    • Excellent project data management skills.

    Advantageous:

    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
    • Document management skills/qualifications
    • Excellent written, verbal, skills.
    • Effective and positive communication at all levels of peoples and cultures.
    • Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
    • Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential. Fluency in other languages is preferred (for example Zulu, Sotho, Swati).

    Additional Requirements

    • Valid Driver's license is essential.

    Professional Nurse III, C3, KRL0111/24GS

    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Provide quality customer service delivery within the occupational health centre
    • Comply and adhere to legal internal standards and procedures within the occupational health centre
    • Processing of contractor/ employee access and activation process at relevant site
    • Conduct medical surveillance and data input within Seriti for relevant sites
    • Provide input into development and successful implementation of policies and procedures within occupational health centre
    • Prepare for and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic acts performed by the OMP
    • Implement medical programs (e.g. TB, HIV, Chronic Illnesses) and report problems to the OMP and the Health Centre Superintendent
    • Effective management of primary health care cases

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma/Degree in General Nursing (NQF Level 7)
    • Diploma/BTech Occupational Health Nursing Science
    • Current registration and in good standing with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse and Occupational Health Nurse (SASOHN)
    • Minimum of 2 years relevant mining experience post-graduation in Occupational Health
    • Shall be trained in audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and multi-drug testing
    • Shall be in possession of a dispensing license
    • Medical database experience
    • Experience in Coal mining industry
    • Experience in COID Act reporting and administration
    • In depth understanding of relevant medical legislation including:
