Why do we need you ?

• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all tools, equipment, and resources; ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with EHS and regulations and guidelines to uphold quality expectations of customer and company.
• Identify training and development opportunities for production foreman and their teams and monitor progress against KPIs.
• Ensure all standards and customer commitments (i.e., safety, waste reductions, output, etc are followed within the plant.
• Apply WCM AM methodologies to ensure continuous improvement of Yield and Availability in line with the annual budget. This will include deployment of AM projects and use of basic tools in the workshop.

Is this job for you ?

• The ideal candidate must have a Degree (BSC, B.Eng.  Chemical / Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical). 5 years’ experience in a Production or Process discipline in a continuous process manufacturing environment and 3 years’ experience in a management/leadership role. Knowledge of and can work within ISO9000 ISO14000 and OSHAS18000 systems. Computer Literacy, WCM experience for internal applicants. This role calls for a person who is good at communication as exposure to work on a unionised environment will set you apart.

• Responsible for managing and coordinating direct reports and manufacturing activities, utilizing systems knowledge of product function, WCM methodology, procedures and machine and equipment capabilities.
• Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing facility including overseeing plant production, materials, equipment and tools to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule.
• Maximise Yield; OEE; TE; EHS and minimise unplanned stops, breakdowns and HERCAs through continuous improvement methods, technology, equipment and materials and partnership with key stakeholders.

• Ensure smooth and efficient maintenance operation of the factory.
• Ensure good maintenance strategy and standard to minimise down time and costs.
• Fault finding on machines, and to improve plant efficiency by optimising the available equipment.
• Identify process improvements that could result in modifying or replacement of plant.
• Generate reports from SAP PM for analysis as required by management.
• Maintain a high standard of discipline and adherence to company procedures and safety standards and precautions as laid down in the Machinery and Occupational Safety Act
• Prepare CAPEX applications for improvement projects and lead project teams to ensure World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects are completed timeously.
• Ensuring contractor compliance to all SGCP standards and procedures.

Is this job for you ?

• An ideal candidate must have an appropriate university degree BSc/B.Eng. Electrical. Management / Leadership qualification and advantage, Knowledge, and application of continuous improvement methodologies. Min 5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment, with a min 1 year team leadership experience as part of the maintenance team (electrical & instrumentation), working within ISO9000/14000/18000 systems. The ideal candidate should have 2 years’ experience in PLC and SCADA programming.Good communication skills, project management. Knowledge of PM & EEM experience is an added advantage.

Is this job for you ?

• We're looking for a dynamic individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Technical Sales or site management within the construction industry, particularly waterproofing. Matric certificate is essential, with a relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction or Technical relevancy. You must be comfortable interpreting technical drawings, analyzing data, and communicating effectively with a diverse customer base. A valid driver's license and proficiency in SAP and MS Office are required. Our preference will be individuals from a construction chemical or civil background
